Abstract
【解決手段】シリンダヘッド25Rに開閉作動可能に配設される吸気弁および排気弁を開閉駆動するための動弁装置38Rが備えるカムシャフト40Rの一端部に、クランクシャフトからの動力を伝達する調時伝動機構47Rの一部を構成する被動輪48Rが固定され、前記スロットル駆動手段70が、クランクシャフトの軸線に沿う方向で前記調時伝動機構47Rとは反対側に配置され、前記電動モータ71が、平面視でスロットルボディ54Bおよびシリンダヘッド25R間に配置される。

Claims (3)
- エンジン本体(20)の一部を構成するシリンダヘッド(25R)の吸気ポート(32)に通じるスロットルボア(60)を有するとともに該スロットルボア(60)の開度を調節するスロットル弁(59)が配設されるスロットルボディ(54B)と、前記スロットル弁(59)を開閉駆動する動力を発揮する電動モータ(71)ならびに該電動モータ(71)の駆動力を減速して前記スロットル弁(59)に伝達する伝達機構(72)を有するスロットル駆動手段(70)とを備えるエンジンの吸気量制御装置において、前記シリンダヘッド(25R)に開閉作動可能に配設される吸気弁(34)および排気弁(35)を開閉駆動するための動弁装置(38R)が備えるカムシャフト(40R)の一端部に、クランクシャフト(21)からの動力を伝達する調時伝動機構(47R)の一部を構成する被動輪(48R)が固定され、前記スロットル駆動手段(70)が、前記クランクシャフト(21)の軸線に沿う方向で前記調時伝動機構(47R)とは反対側に配置され、前記電動モータ(71)が、平面視で前記スロットルボディ(54B)および前記シリンダヘッド(25R)間に配置されることを特徴とするエンジンの吸気量制御装置。
- 前記エンジン本体(20)が相互にV形をなす第1および第2バンク(BR,BF)を有してV型4気筒に構成され、前記スロットルボディ(54B)を含む2つのスロットルボディ(54A,54B)が第1バンク(BR)の2つの気筒(C1,C2)に個別に対応して配置されるとともに第1スロットルボディ群(53R)を構成するようにして連結され、第2バンク(BF)の2つの気筒(C3,C4)に個別に対応して配置される他の2つのスロットルボディ(54C,54D)が第2スロットルボディ群(53F)を構成するようにして連結され、第1スロットルボディ群(53R)の前記両スロットルボディ(54A,54B)の前記スロットルボア(60)間の間隔が第2スロットルボディ群(53F)の前記両スロットルボディ(54C,54D)の前記スロットルボア(60)間の間隔よりも小さく設定され、前記電動モータ(71)が第1スロットルボディ群(53R)に配設されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のエンジンの吸気量制御装置。
- 前記エンジン本体(20)が、エアクリーナ(17)および燃料タンク(19)の下方に配置されて自動二輪車の車体フレーム(F)に搭載され、前記エアクリーナ(17)のクリーナケース(18)および前記燃料タンク(19)間に生じるスペースの下方に前記電動モータ(71)が配置されることを特徴とする請求項2記載のエンジンの吸気量制御装置。
