Abstract
【解決手段】線状光源2を放熱体10に取り付け、線状光源2の上方に棒状レンズ3を取り付けた。線状光源2と棒状レンズ3が取り付けられた放熱体10と棒状レンズの前方に配置された直線帯板状のリフレクタ11が収容されたキャリッジ12をコンタクトガラス13の下方に線状光源2の長手方向に垂直な方向に移動可能に支持するようにした。レンズ3は長手方向に垂直な面の断面が、レンズ3の光源2に対向する側の面4は光源2側に膨らんだ湾曲線4aとなっており、光源2に対向する側と反対側の面5は、LED1の光軸Xを含む面を挟んだ両側に夫々光源2と反対側に膨らんだ、連続する複数の異なる曲率半径の曲線からなる複合曲線となっている。

Claims (7)
- 原稿面に照射した光の前記原稿面からの反射光を受光することによって原稿を読み取る原稿読み取り装置に使用される原稿読取用光源装置であって、前記原稿読取用光源装置は線状光源と、該線状光源に平行に並設された、複数の第1の焦点を含む直線状の第1の線状焦点群を通る複数の光軸を含む第1の光軸面および複数の第2の焦点を含む直線状の第2の線状焦点群を通る複数の光軸を含む第2の光軸面を有する棒状レンズと、前記棒状レンズの前記線状光源と反対側に前記棒状レンズと平行に且つ前記棒状レンズの前記第2の光軸面と交差する位置に並設された直線状リフレクタを具備し、前記直線状リフレクタで反射された前記第2の光軸面と前記第1の光軸面が交差する位置の近傍に前記第1の線状焦点群と前記第2の線状焦点群が位置することを特徴とする原稿読取用光源装置。
- 前記第1の光軸面と前記直線状リフレクタで反射された前記第2の光軸面が交差する角度は、80°〜100°の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の原稿読取用光源装置。
- 前記第1の線状焦点群と前記第2の線状焦点群の位置する距離は、2mm〜5mmの範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項1または2のいずれか1項に記載の原稿読取用光源装置。
- 前記棒状レンズを該棒状レンズの長手方向に垂直な面で切断したときの、前記線状光源に対向する側と反対側の面の断面形状が、前記棒状レンズを通る前記線状光源の第3の光軸を挟んだ両側に夫々前記線状光源と反対側に膨らんだ、連続する複数の異なる曲率半径の曲線からなる複合曲線であり、前記複合曲線同士の繋ぎ部分は前記第3の光軸に平行な直線であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の原稿読取用光源装置。
- 前記第1の光軸面と前記直線状リフレクタで反射される前の前記第2の光軸面のなす角は40°であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の原稿読取用光源装置。
- 前記線状光源は、複数の白色LEDを直線状に配列してなることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の原稿読取用光源装置。
- 前記原稿読取用光源装置は、前記棒状レンズの前記第1の光軸面および前記直線状リフレクタで反射された前記第2の光軸面が共に、前記原稿面の垂直面に対して40°〜50°の角度を保って前記原稿読み取り装置に前記線状光源の長手方向に垂直な方向に移動可能に取り付けられることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の原稿読取用光源装置。
