Abstract
【解決手段】電源CU7は、エンジンスタータ35の始動から設定時間Δt経過するまでの間にエンジンスタータ35に供給される電流Iの積算値ΣIを演算し、設定時間Δt経過時のエンジン回転数Nと電流Iの積算値ΣIに基づいてキャパシタ20の異常を判定する。これにより、簡単な構成でキャパシタ20の異常診断を容易に行うことができる。すなわち、エンジンの始動システム全体として捉えたキャパシタ20の診断を行うことにより、キャパシタ毎に専用の電圧センサを設ける等の必要がなく、簡単な構成でキャパシタの異常診断を容易に行うことができる。

Description
電源CU7は、各スイッチ45〜47の操作状態等に応じて、電気負荷33,35,36の作動制御を行う。すなわち、電源CU7は、オフされたスイッチ45〜47に応じてリレー37,39,40を非励磁(オフ制御)とし、オンされたスイッチ45〜47に応じてリレー37,39,40を励磁(オン制御)する。励磁されたリレー37,39,40は、電源部5(及び、オルタネータ6)側と電気負荷33,35,36側とを電気的に接続し、電気負荷33,35,36側に電力を供給する。さらに、電源CU7にはエンジンコントロールユニット(ECU)100からエンジンの各種制御信号が入力されるようになっており、電源CU7は、アイドリングストップ制御によって自動停止したエンジンの再始動を指示する信号がECU100から入力されると、リレー39をオン制御し、例えばエンジンの完爆判定がなされるまでの間、電気負荷(エンジンスタータ)35を作動させる。尚、本実施形態において、電源CU7は、スイッチ46がオンされている場合であっても、リレー39がオン制御されている間は、リレー40をオフ制御するようになっている。また、電気負荷34は、スイッチ38によって直接的に作動される。

Claims (2)
- 車両の停車時にエンジンを停止させ、予め設定されたドライバの運転操作に連動してエンジンを再始動させるアイドリングトップ機能を備えた車両に搭載され、前記エンジンの再始動時にバッテリとキャパシタとを併用してエンジンスタータへの給電を行う車両用電源装置であって、
前記エンジンスタータに供給される電流を検出する電流検出手段と、
前記検出した電流に基づいて前記エンジンスタータの始動から設定時間経過するまでの間に前記エンジンスタータに供給される電流の積算値を演算する積算値演算手段と、
前記設定時間経過時のエンジン回転数が予め設定された範囲外にあり、且つ、前記電流の積算値が予め設定された値以下であるとき、前記キャパシタが異常であると判定する異常判定手段を備えたことを特徴とする車両用電源装置。 - 前記異常判定手段は、前記エンジンスタータ始動時におけるエンジンが暖機前の状態にあるとき、前記キャパシタの異常判定を行わないことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用電源装置。
