Claims (24)

複数のワイヤフィラメントが、前記コア部材(28)を覆うように配置される編組(20)を形成するために織り合わされた第1のワイヤフィラメント(22a)及び第2のワイヤフィラメント(22b)を含み、
前記第1のワイヤフィラメント(22a)が、第1の非円形部(24a)と、該非円形部(24a)から連続して延びる第2の円形部(26a)とを含む医療器具。 - 第2のワイヤフィラメント(22b)が、第1の非円形部(24b)と、該非円形部(24b)から連続して延びる第2の円形部(26b)とを含む、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記編組(20)を形成するために織り合わされた前記複数のワイヤフィラメントが、第3のワイヤフィラメント(22c)を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の医療器具。
- 前記第3のワイヤフィラメント(22c)が、第1の非円形部(24c)と、該非円形部(24c)から連続して延びる第2の円形部(26c)とを含む、請求項3に記載の医療器具。

を含む方法。 - 前記複数のワイヤ(22)の1本又は複数本の第1の部位の断面形状を変更する工程が、断面形状が変更される1本又は複数本のワイヤの前記第1の部位を平坦化する工程を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記複数のワイヤ(22)の1本又は複数本の前記第1の部位の断面形状を変更する前に、前記複数の丸ワイヤ(22)の1本又は複数本の断面積を減少させる工程をさらに含む、請求項17又は18に記載の方法。
