Abstract
【解決手段】回転カム12とバルブ15との間に揺動可能に介装されたロッカアーム20を操作することによりバルブの開閉量を変更する可変動弁機構10において、ロッカアームは、入力部材21と、出力部材30とを含み、二つのラッシュアジャスタ50によって揺動可能に支持され、ラッシュアジャスタからロッカアームの内へと繋がる油圧経路が可変動弁機構に設けられ、油圧経路の油圧により、切替を行う切替機構が設けられ、この切替えにより、バルブの開閉量を変更することを特徴とする。

Description
本可変動弁機構10は、エンジンのクランク軸(図示略)により回転させられるカムシャフト11に設けられている回転カム12と、回転カム12の回転に従い揺動してバルブ15を開閉しているロッカアーム20と、ロッカアーム20によるバルブ15の開閉量を断続的に変更している切替機構40とを含んでいる。
(a)ロッカアーム20内に油圧経路36を設けることにより、可変動弁機構10全体が簡素化できる。
(b)ロッカアーム20を支持するラッシュアジャスタ50に先端部が半球状の従来のものを用いることで、可変動弁機構10のコストの低減が図れる。
(c)一つのロッカアーム20で二つのバルブ15を駆動することにより、内燃機関全体のロッカアーム20の数を減らすことができる。
(d)一つのロッカアーム20を支持する二つのラッシュアジャスタ50に、ロッカアーム20のそれぞれ別のアウタアーム31、32の基端を支持させることにより、ラッシュアジャスタ50の位置度ばらつきを吸収できる。
(e)支持軸25の軸線が、ラッシュアジャスタ50の半球状の先端部の球心を通ることにより、ロッカアーム20を小さくできる。
(f)ロッカアーム20の基端部を左右二つのラッシュアジャスタ50で支持することにより、ロッカアーム20の左右傾きを防止できる。
(g)連結ピン45が入力ローラ26を支持することで、ロッカアーム20の簡素化ができる。

Claims (3)
- 回転カムとバルブとの間に揺動可能に介装されたロッカアームを操作することにより前記バルブの開閉量を変更する可変動弁機構において、
前記ロッカアームは、前記回転カムに当接する入力ローラを備えた入力部材と、前記バルブに当接する出力部材とを含み、該ロッカアームの幅方向に離れて設けられた先端部の形状が半球状の二つのラッシュアジャスタによって揺動可能に支持され、
前記ラッシュアジャスタの少なくとも一から前記ロッカアームの内へと繋がる油圧経路が前記可変動弁機構に設けられ、
前記油圧経路の油圧により、前記入力部材と前記出力部材とを相互に相対変位不能に連結した連結状態と前記入力部材と前記出力部材とを相互に相対変位可能に連結を解除した連結解除状態との間での切替を行う切替機構が設けられ、該切替えにより、前記バルブの開閉量を変更することを特徴とする可変動弁機構。 - 前記出力部材は、それぞれ別の前記バルブに当接し、それぞれ別の前記ラッシュアジャスタによって支持され、前記ロッカアームの幅方向に並ぶ二つのアーム状部材からなる請求項1に記載の可変動弁機構。
- 前記入力部材は、二つの前記アーム状部材の間であって、該アーム状部材が両端を支持する支持軸によって揺動可能に軸支され、前記支持軸の軸線が、前記ラッシュアジャスタの半球状の先端部の球心を通る請求項2に記載の可変動弁機構。
