Claims (9)
- 流体(19)が貫流できる空洞(21)を備え、少なくとも1個の電流分配構造物(2)を有し、該電流分配構造物(2)が電流供給体(3)を介して電源に接続できる電気加熱可能なハニカム体(1)において、
a)電流供給体(3)、
b)電流分配構造物(2)、
の内の少なくとも1つが、正温度係数(PTC)の材料から成る少なくとも1個の制御要素(4)を有し、該制御要素(4)がハニカム体(1)を貫流する流体に少なくとも熱的に接触されることを特徴とする電気加熱可能なハニカム体。 - 電流供給体(3)が、ハニカム体(1)の外側に設けられたブッシング(5)を有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハニカム体。
- 制御要素(4)の少なくとも一部分がブッシング(5)内に配置されている、ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のハニカム体(1)。
- 制御要素(4)の少なくとも一部分がハニカム体(1)の内部に突入していることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3の1つに記載のハニカム体。
- 制御要素(4)の少なくとも一部分の周りを流体が通流することを特徴とする請求項1ないし4の1つに記載のハニカム体。
- 制御要素(4)が、
a)チタン酸セラミックス、
b)チタン酸バリウムセラミックス、
の少なくとも1つの材料で作られていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5の1つに記載のハニカム体。 - 少なくとも1個の電流分配構造物(2)を有し、該電流分配構造物(2)が電流供給のために電流供給体(3)を介して電源に接続されている、流体が貫流できる電気加熱可能なハニカム体(1)の運転方法において、
電流供給が、流体と少なくとも熱的に接触する少なくとも1個の自己制御式制御要素(4)を介して行われることを特徴とする電気加熱可能なハニカム体の運転方法。 - 制御要素(4)が、
a)ハニカム体(1、7、12)の少なくとも一部における触媒活性被覆、
b)ハニカム体(1)の下流に配置されている排気ガス処理用構造物の少なくとも1つの触媒活性被覆、
の内の少なくとも1つの被覆の始動温度より高いか又はそれと同じである流体(19)の温度に一致する制御温度を有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。 - 制御要素(4)の少なくとも一部分の周りを流体(19)が通流することを特徴とする請求項7又は8に記載の方法。
