Abstract

Le dispositif de purification comprend une enveloppe tubulaire ayant un axe central, un organe de purification des gaz d'échappement logé dans l'enveloppe tubulaire, un organe de chauffage électrique logé dans l'enveloppe tubulaire et une alimentation électrique alimentant électriquement l'organe de chauffage, l'organe de chauffage comprenant une plaque chauffante (33) en un matériau électriquement conducteur s'étendant dans un plan sensiblement perpendiculaire à l'axe central, la plaque chauffante (33) ayant un centre plein (35) et au moins deux branches (37), chaque branche (37) s'étendant en spirale à partir du centre plein (35) jusqu'à une extrémité libre (39) située à proximité de l'enveloppe tubulaire, la plaque chauffante (33) étant perméable aux gaz d'échappement et comprenant un réseau de passages pour le gaz d'échappement générant un écoulement turbulent des gaz d'échappement à travers la plaque chauffante (33).
