Abstract
【解決手段】デジタル複合機は印刷機能およびネットワーク通信機能を含む複数の機能を実行する機能実行部10と、この機能実行部を制御する制御回路20とを備える。制御回路20はネットワークへの接続を確認し、機能実行部10の機能をネットワーク上に存在する他のデジタル複合機に特有な機能と選択的に組み合わせ、これら機能の連携を制御するプロセッサユニット21を含む。

Claims (20)
- 印刷機能およびネットワーク通信機能を含む複数の機能を実行する機能実行部と、前記機能実行部を制御する制御回路とを備え、前記制御回路がネットワークへの接続を確認し、前記機能実行部の機能をネットワーク上に存在する他のデジタル複合機に特有な機能と組み合わせ、これら機能の連携を制御する連携制御部を含むことを特徴とするデジタル複合機。
- 前記連携制御部は、前記ネットワーク上に存在する全てのデジタル複合機の機能仕様を連携情報として取得し、この連携情報をこれら全てのデジタル複合機に配信する連携情報管理が前記ネットワーク上で行われていないことを確認して前記連携情報管理を行うように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデジタル複合機。
- 前記連携情報は少なくとも新規デジタル複合機の前記ネットワークへの接続に伴なって更新されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のデジタル複合機。
- 前記機能の組み合わせが前記連携情報に基いて決定されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のデジタル複合機。
- 前記機能実行部は、スキャニング機能、ファクシミリ通信機能、画像処理機能、および仕上機能のうちの少なくとも1つを前記印刷機能および前記ネットワーク通信機能の他に実行可能な機能として含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデジタル複合機。
- 前記連携制御部は、前記機能の連携を必要とする処理が前記ネットワークを介して要求された場合に前記処理の終了を要求元に報告するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデジタル複合機。
- 前記要求元はコンピュータであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のデジタル複合機。
- ネットワーク上にそれぞれ設けられる複数のデジタル複合機を備え、各デジタル複合機が印刷機能およびネットワーク通信機能を含む複数の機能を実行する機能実行部と、前記機能実行部を制御する制御回路とを含み、前記制御回路が前記ネットワークへの接続を確認し、前記機能実行部の機能をネットワーク上に存在する他のデジタル複合機に特有な機能と組み合わせ、これら機能の連携を制御する連携制御部を含むことを特徴とするデジタル複合機システム。
- 前記連携制御部は、前記ネットワーク上に存在する全てのデジタル複合機の機能仕様を連携情報として取得し、この連携情報をこれら全てのデジタル複合機に配信する連携情報管理が前記ネットワーク上で行われていないことを確認して前記連携情報管理を行うように構成されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のデジタル複合機システム。
- 前記連携情報は少なくとも新規デジタル複合機の前記ネットワークへの接続に伴なって更新されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のデジタル複合機システム。
- 前記機能の組み合わせが前記連携情報に基いて決定されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のデジタル複合機システム。
- 前記機能実行部は、スキャニング機能、ファクシミリ通信機能、画像処理機能、および仕上機能のうちの少なくとも1つを前記印刷機能および前記ネットワーク通信機能の他に実行可能な機能として含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のデジタル複合機システム。
- 前記連携制御部は、前記機能の連携を必要とする処理が前記ネットワークを介して要求された場合に前記処理の終了を要求元に報告するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のデジタル複合機システム。
- 前記要求元はコンピュータであることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のデジタル複合機システム。
- ネットワーク上に設けられる複数のデジタル複合機を備え、各デジタル複合機が印刷機能およびネットワーク通信機能を含む複数の機能を実行する機能実行部およびこの機能実行部を制御する制御回路とを含むデジタル複合機システムの管理方法であって、各デジタル複合機のネットワークへの接続を確認し、このデジタル複合機の機能実行部の機能をネットワーク上に存在する他のデジタル複合機に特有な機能と組み合わせ、これら機能の連携を制御することを特徴とする管理方法。
- さらに前記ネットワーク上に存在する全てのデジタル複合機の機能仕様を連携情報として取得し、この連携情報をこれら全てのデジタル複合機に配信する連携情報管理が前記ネットワーク上で行われていないことを確認して前記複数のデジタル複合機のいずれかに前記連携情報管理を行わせることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の管理方法。
- 前記連携情報は少なくとも新規デジタル複合機の前記ネットワークへの接続に伴なって更新されることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の管理方法。
- 前記機能の組み合わせが前記連携情報に基いて決定されることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の管理方法。
- 前記機能実行部は、スキャニング機能、ファクシミリ通信機能、画像処理機能、および仕上機能のうちの少なくとも1つを前記印刷機能および前記ネットワーク通信機能の他に実行可能な機能として含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の管理方法。
- 前記機能の連携を必要とする処理が前記ネットワークを介して要求された場合に前記処理の終了を要求元に報告することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の管理方法。
