Abstract
【解決手段】電池セル電荷の放電を調整する電池平衡アセンブリ27を備えた電池10、および電池セル(C1、C2、C3)を一様に放電させる方法であって、電池10は、複数のセル(C1、C2、C3)を備えている。平衡アセンブリ27は、スイッチ(S1、S2、S3)がセル(C1、C2、C3)を正規の構成および平衡構成で構成することができるよう、セルとセルの間に配置されたスイッチ(S1、S2、S3)を備えている。正規の構成では、複数のセル(C1、C2、C3)を電子デバイス16に接続することができ、また、平衡構成では、複数のセル(C1、C2、C3)は平衡回路20に接続される。平衡回路20は、セルの充電に先立って、複数のセル(C1、C2、C3)の電荷を平衡させる役割を果たしている。

Claims (10)
- 電荷を貯蔵し、かつ、負荷16に電荷を提供するための蓄電池10であって、
前記負荷16に接続されるべく配置された複数のセル(C1、C2、C3)と、
前記複数のセル(C1、C2、C3)と前記負荷16の間の複数のスイッチ(S1、S2、S3)であって、電流が流れる閉状態および電流が流れない開状態の位置に前記スイッチの各々を配置することができ、前記複数のスイッチが、前記複数のスイッチ(S1、S2、S3)が前記セル(C1、C2、C3)を直列に接続する正規の構成、および前記複数のスイッチ(S1、S2、S3)が前記セル(C1、C2、C3)を並列に接続する平衡構成を有する複数のスイッチ(S1、S2、S3)と、
前記複数のスイッチ(S1、S2、S3)の構成が平衡構成である場合に、前記複数のセル(C1、C2、C3)に並列に接続される平衡回路20と
を備えた蓄電池10。 - 前記平衡回路20が定電流定電圧放電負荷22を備えた、請求項1記載の電池。
- 前記開状態と閉状態の間の前記スイッチ(S1、S2、S3)の移動を制御するコントローラ28をさらに備え、前記コントローラが、前記複数のスイッチ(S1、S2、S3)を動作させて前記平衡構成にし、前記平衡回路を前記複数のセル(C1、C2、C3)に選択的に接続する、請求項2記載の電池。
- 前記スイッチ(S1、S2、S3)の構成を切り換えるべく前記コントローラ28が手動で動作する、請求項3記載の電池。
- 前記スイッチ(S1、S2、S3)の構成を切り換えるべく前記コントローラ28がソフトウェアを使用する、請求項3記載の電池。
- 前記複数のセルが複数のリチウムイオンセル(C1、C2、C3)である、請求項2記載の電池。
- 前記正規の構成および前記平衡構成が、少なくとも1つのスイッチ(S1、S2、S3)を開状態にし、かつ、少なくとも1つのスイッチ(S1、S2、S3)を閉状態にすることによって構成される、請求項6記載の電池。
- 電池10として電力を提供するように構成された複数の電気セル(C1、C2、C3)を一様に放電させる方法であって、
前記複数の電気セル(C1、C2、C3)を、電流を引き出すプログラム可能負荷22を備えた平衡回路20に取り付ける段階と、
個々のセル(C1、C2、C3)の電圧が最小放電電圧に達するまで前記プログラム可能負荷22を動作させる段階と、
セル(C1、C2、C3)毎の最小推奨放電電圧を維持するために、前記電流の変化に応じて前記プログラム可能負荷22の抵抗を大きくする段階と、
個々のセル(C1、C2、C3)から引き出される電流が所定の閾値電流未満に漸減するまで前記セル(C1、C2、C3)を放電させる段階と
を含む方法。 - 前記セル(C1、C2、C3)の放電によって、電圧、電荷状態および残留容量が化学放電点で強制的に平衡する、請求項8記載の方法。
- セル(C1、C2、C3)毎の前記残留セル容量が、充電および放電サイクルを通して一定に維持される、請求項9記載の方法。
