Abstract
【解決手段】超音波振動するホーン具2の被加工シート受け面3に対して直交方向から往復動自在に押圧される押圧部材1を備える。そして、間欠的に送られるシート送り方向から見て、押圧部材1は、その先端に、傾斜状溶着用押圧端面14を有する三角刃形状として最先端に切断エッジ13を有している。

Description
また、重ねたシート材の厚さ寸法の大小に関係なく、溶着部の幅寸法は一定の大きさになるため、薄いシート材の溶着部の幅を大きくして強固に溶着することができない。
また、上記取付本体に、シート送り方向における上記押圧部材の後方に設けられ、上記押圧部材による溶着・溶断の際に上記シート材を押さえ付ける弾性押さえ部材を備えている。
本発明に係る超音波溶着装置は、超音波振動するホーン具の被加工シート受け面に対して直交方向から往復動自在に押圧される押圧部材を備え、間欠的に送られるシート送り方向から見て、押圧部材は、その先端に、傾斜状溶着用押圧端面を有する三角刃形状として最先端に切断エッジを有していることから、押圧部材により、溶断部と溶着部を、同時に並列状に加工できるので、直線状はもちろんのこと、小さな曲率半径の弯曲状にも形成することができる。しかも、溶断部を、溶着部に確実に沿わせて形成できるので、高精度な形状の製品を容易に製造することができると共に、溶着部の幅が一定になり溶着力の強弱のムラが発生することがない。また、溶断部の最も近い部位が最も強く溶着されて、端縁から剥離せず、端縁が美しい形状となる。
しかも、溶着・溶断作業の際にシート材に皺がよるのを防止でき、製品の仕上がりが一層良いものとなる。
図1は本発明の超音波溶着装置の実施の一形態を示し、この装置は、超音波振動するホーン具2の被加工シート受け面3に対して直交方向から往復動自在に押圧される押圧部材1を、備える。この押圧部材(アンビル)1は、往復動発生装置9の上下動ロッド10の下端に固着された取付本体11に交換自在に取付けられる。そして、押圧部材1によって溶着される被加工シート材4は、布材、不織布、合成樹脂シート材等であり、二枚重ねられて加工される。
図1,図6及び図7において、先ず、二枚重ねた被加工シート材4,4を、テーブル7上に、押圧部材1とホーン具2の間で載置し、矢印a,aのように押さえ歯部材21・受け歯部材22を夫々下降・上昇させて各歯部23,24でシート材4,4を挟む。そして、超音波発生装置8を起動してホーン具2を超音波振動させると共に、往復動発生装置9を起動して、矢印bのように、押圧部材1をシート材4,4上に下降させて、切断エッジ13を食い込ませていくと、ホーン具2の超音波振動により、切断エッジ13がシート材4,4を溶断しながら、押圧端面14が、シート材4,4の溶断されている部位に沿って傾斜状に溶着していく。そして、図8に示したように、切断エッジ13がホーン具2の受け面3に達し、シート材4,4は溶断部40により完全に切断(溶断)されると共に、押圧端面14によって、溶断部40に沿って溶着部41が形成される。
また、押圧部材1による押圧と同時に、弾性押さえ部材6がシート材4,4の溶着部41、溶断部40の後方近傍を上方から押さえるため(図1,図11参照)、溶着・溶断の際にシート材4,4が左右や前後方向へずれるのが防がれる。これにより、連続して加工していくうちにシート4,4が歪んで送られることがなく、送りたい方向へと確実に送ることができる。
そして、押圧部材1を矢印bのように押圧して、上述した溶着・溶断を繰り返すことで、シート材4,4の間欠送り毎に、一回の溶着・溶断が行われる。
また、図14に示したように、布製のシート材4,4に溶断部40・溶着部41を加工した後で、両シート材4,4を開いて、肌着を作製することもできる。この場合、突出辺状となる溶断部40が内側(肌側)となるように作製されるが、溶着部41の幅寸法Pが小さいので、肌側への突出寸法が小さく、肌は痛みなどの違和感をほとんど感じることはない。
しかも、溶着・溶断作業の際にシート材に皺がよるのを防止でき、製品の仕上がりが一層良いものとなる。

Claims (4)
- 超音波振動するホーン具(2)の被加工シート受け面(3)に対して直交方向から往復動自在に押圧される押圧部材(1)を備え、間欠的に送られるシート送り方向から見て、該押圧部材(1)は、その先端に、傾斜状溶着用押圧端面(14)を有する三角刃形状として最先端に切断エッジ(13)を有していることを特徴とする超音波溶着装置。
- シート送り方向から見て上記切断エッジ(13)の先端のエッジ角度(θ)が相違する複数の押圧部材(1)を備え、
かつ、該複数の押圧部材(1)から選択した一の押圧部材(1)が交換自在に取付けられ該押圧部材(1)を往復動自在に保持する取付本体(11)を備えた請求項1記載の超音波溶着装置。 - 上記エッジ角度(θ)が相違する複数の押圧部材(1)のうち、厚さ寸法(T4 )が小さい被加工シート材(4)(4)に対しては、該エッジ角度(θ)が大きい押圧部材(1)が選択され、かつ、厚さ寸法(T4 )が大きい上記シート材(4)(4)に対しては、該エッジ角度(θ)が小さい押圧部材(1)が選択される請求項2記載の超音波溶着装置。
- 上記取付本体(11)に、シート送り方向における上記押圧部材(1)の後方に設けられ、上記押圧部材(1)による溶着・溶断の際に上記シート材(4)(4)を押さえ付ける弾性押さえ部材(6)を備えた請求項2又は3記載の超音波溶着装置。
