Abstract

Claims (12)
- 隣接構造に対する密着設置を回復するための垂直ばね式くさびであって、
1対の案内部分(20)および1対のブラケット穴(22)を含むU字形ブラケット(18)と、
前記ブラケット(18)に結合された1対のくさびアセンブリであって、それぞれ前記くさびアセンブリがばね予圧された案内ロッド(14)に取り付けられたくさびセグメント(12)を備え、前記案内ロッド(14)が前記ブラケット穴(22)内で引込み位置と引出し位置の間で変位可能である、くさびアセンブリとを備え、
前記くさびセグメント(12)が前記案内部分(20)と係合し、前記ブラケット(18)と前記くさびアセンブリの組合せは、前記案内ロッド(14)が前記引込み位置にある場合は第1の幅を有し、前記案内ロッド(14)が前記引出し位置にある場合は前記第1の幅よりも広い第2の幅を有する、垂直ばね式くさび。 - 前記ばね予圧された案内ロッド(14)がそれぞれ前記ブラケット(18)と前記くさびセグメント(12)の間に固定されたばね(16)を備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の垂直ばね式くさび。
- 前記案内ロッド(14)が前記引込み位置にある状態で、前記ばね(16)の予圧力が前記案内ロッド(14)を前記引出し位置に向けて駆動する働きをすることを特徴とする請求項2記載の垂直ばね式くさび。
- 各ばね(16)の前記予圧力が約6ポンドであることを特徴とする請求項3記載の垂直ばね式くさび。
- それぞれ前記案内部分(20)が、前記くさびセグメント(12)と係合可能なテーパを付けたセクションを備えて、前記くさびセグメント(12)および前記案内部分(20)が接線方向にオフセットされることを特徴とする請求項1記載の垂直ばね式くさび。
- 前記くさびセグメント(12)が約10度の傾斜角を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の垂直ばね式くさび。
- 前記第1の幅が、前記垂直ばね式くさびが0.25インチほど小さい間隙幅内に遠隔に取り付け可能であるように画定されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の垂直ばね式くさび。
- 前記密着設置が沸騰水型原子炉ジェットポンプ内の入口ミキサと隣接拘束ブラケット(18)の間に存在し、前記ブラケット(18)が前記拘束ブラケット(18)の案内耳部を収容するための前記ブラケット穴(22)の間の解放スロット(24)を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の垂直ばね式くさび。
- 前記案内部分(20)が前記拘束ブラケット(18)の止めねじを収容するのに十分な距離だけ間隔をおいて配置されることを特徴とする請求項8記載の垂直ばね式くさび。
- 請求項8の垂直ばね式くさびを使用する沸騰水型原子炉ジェットポンプ内の入口ミキサと隣接拘束ブラケット(18)の間の密着設置を回復する方法であって、
案内ロッド(14)をばね予圧に抗して引込み位置まで引き寄せること、
垂直ばね式くさび(10)を入口ミキサと拘束ブラケット(18)の間の間隙内に挿入すること、および
前記案内ロッド(14)を解放することを含み、前記ばね予圧によって前記案内ロッド(14)が前記引出し位置に移動される方法。 - 前記挿入ステップが、前記垂直ばね式くさび(10)をブラケット(18)解放スロット(24)が前記拘束ブラケット(18)の案内耳部を取り囲むまで前記間隙内に挿入することを含むことを特徴とする請求項10記載の方法。
- 隣接構造に対する密着設置を回復するための垂直ばね式くさびであって、
ブラケット(18)脚部および横材を備え、前記ブラケット(18)脚部上の1対のテーパを付けた案内部分(20)および前記横材内の1対のブラケット穴(22)を含む、U字形ブラケット(18)と、
前記ブラケット(18)に結合された1対のくさびアセンブリであって、それぞれ前記くさびアセンブリはばね予圧された案内ロッド(14)に取り付けられたくさびセグメント(12)を備え、前記案内ロッド(14)は前記ブラケット穴(22)内で引込み位置と引出し位置の間で変位可能であるくさびセグメント(12)とを備え、
前記くさびセグメント(12)が前記案内部分(20)と係合し、前記ブラケット(18)と前記くさびアセンブリの組合せは、前記案内ロッド(14)が前記引込み位置にある場合は第1の幅を有し、前記案内ロッド(14)が前記引出し位置にある場合は前記第1の幅よりも広い第2の幅を有する、垂直ばね式くさび。
