【解決手段】血管造影用注射器装置は、マニホルドと、注射器ポンプ又は低圧力装置の何れかを患者の体内に挿入したカテーテルに選択的に接続する弁とを備えている。該弁は、圧力の監視、塩水フラッシング又は吸引機能のため低圧力装置をカテーテルに接続する状態に、通常、偏倚されている。注射を行おうとするとき、該弁は、自動的に切り換わり、注射器ポンプがマニホルドを通じてカテーテルに接続されている一方、低圧力装置が切り離され且つ高圧力にさらされることはないようにする。

Description
プランジャを手で作動させて、X線造影コントラスト物質をチャンバからカテーテルを通して且つ静脈又は動脈内に押し出す。手動のコントラスト物質注射装置のユーザは、プランジャに付与される手動の作動力を変化させることにより、注射速度及び量を調節することができる。
注射中の注射量を変化させ得る能力を欠く結果、血管造影診断の質が最適程度以下となる可能性がある。その理由は、最適な注射流量は患者の間で著しく相違する可能性があるからである。心臓血管系において、コントラスト物質の注射速度及び量は、注射を行うチャンバ又は血管内の容積及び流量によって決まる。多くの場合又は殆どの場合、これらのパラメータは正確に把握されない。更に、患者の状態は薬、病気又は通常の生理学の状態を通して変化するから、最適な注射量は急激に変化する可能性がある。従って、最初のコントラスト物質の注射はX線像にて所望の構造体の概略を把握するためには、量すなわち流量の点にて不十分であり、もう一回注射することが必要となる。これと逆に、過剰な流量は、注射を行うチャンバ又は血管を損傷させ、カテーテルを変位させ(カテーテル先端から出るコントラスト物質の射出により)又はコントラスト物質の過剰投与により(心臓の異常な拍動のような)有害な効果を生じさせる可能性がある。
X線造影コントラスト物質リザーバ22は、一方向逆止弁24を通じて上方ポート78に接続されている。X線造影コントラスト物質は、逆止弁24及び上方ポート78を通じてリザーバ22から注射器本体18及びプランジャ20により画成された圧送チャンバ内に吸引される。逆止弁24は、空気が注射器本体18からリザーバ22内に流動するのを許容するが、X線造影コントラスト物質が注射器本体18からリザーバ22内に流動するのは許容しない重りの付いた一方向弁であることが好ましい。このことは、以下により詳細に説明するように、空気を装置から自動的に排出することを可能にする。
また、スイッチ200の作動は、プランジャ20が引込み且つ注射器本体18から非係合状態となることも許容する。
塩水スイッチ206は、1つの代替的な動作スイッチである。ポンプモータ120は、塩水スイッチ206を押すことに応答して動作され、バッグ50からの塩水の溶液は、設定した速度にてマニホルド26及びカテーテル30内に導入される。塩水の流れを停止させるため、10秒以内に、塩水スイッチ206が二回目に押されないと、コンピュータ100は、ポンプモータ120を自動的に停止させる。制限時間が満了したならば、更なる任意の動作を開始する前に、塩水スイッチ206をその最初の状態にリセットしなければならない。
ディスプレイ274は、流量を変化させつつ、装置が許容する最小立上り時間を示す。この最小立上り時間は、スイッチ216a、216bを通じて選択される。
リアルタイムクロックディスプレイ278は、現在の時間を時間、分及び秒にて示す。
図7Cにおいて、全ての空気は、注射器本体18から追い出されている。ボール350は、X線造影.コントラスト物質上にて浮動し、このため、全ての空気を除去し且つX線造影コントラスト物質が注射器本体18から流れ出て且つ上方ポート78を通って弁チャンバ352に入り始めるとき、ボール350は、その上方の着座位置に向けて上方に動かされる。ボール350は、図7C及び図8Cに図示するように、X線造影コントラスト物質が上方への流れを続けるのを妨げる。

Claims (4)
- 血管造影用注射装置用の注射器を自動的に再充填する方法において、
前記注射器のチャンバ内の流体量を感知することと、
前記チャンバ内の前記流体量をその後の注射に必要な予め設定した制限値と比較することと、
その後の注射に必要な予め設定した流体量が前記チャンバ内の感知した流体量以下であるならば、前記注射器の前記チャンバ内のプランジャを所定の限界値まで引込めることとを備える、方法。 - 請求項1による方法において、
前記所定の限界値が、前記注射器の前記チャンバを最大限、充填するようにした、方法。 - 請求項1による方法において、
前記所定の限界値が、前記チャンバの最大容積以下である、方法。 - 請求項1による方法において、
前記注射器の前記チャンバから空気を除去するステップを更に備える、方法。
