Claims (4)
- シリンダブロック(21)に摺動自在に嵌合されるピストン(25)の頂部を臨ませてシリンダブロック(21)およびシリンダヘッド(22)間に燃焼室(62)が形成され、吸気弁(86)で開閉されるようにして前記燃焼室(62)の天井面に開口する吸気弁口(71)に連なる吸気通路(70)が、前記シリンダヘッド(22)に別体もしくは一体に接続されるインレットパイプ(68)から前記シリンダヘッド(22)にわたって形成される内燃機関において、前記吸気通路(70)に、該吸気通路(70)の流通方向に間隔をあけて配置される一対の絞り部(70a,70b)と、それらの絞り部(70a,70b)間に配置される拡大部(70c)とが形成されることを特徴とする内燃機関。
- 前記拡大部(70c)に向けて燃料を噴射する燃料噴射弁(79)が前記シリンダヘッド(22)または前記インレットパイプ(68)に取付けられることを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関。
- 前記拡大部(70c)が、前記シリンダヘッド(22)と、該シリンダヘッド(22)とは別体の前記インレットパイプ(68)との接続部に対応して形成されることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の内燃機関。
- クランクシャフト(26)の軸線に直交するとともにシリンダ軸線と平行な平面への投影図上で略U字状の断面形状を有するように形成された前記吸気通路(70)の彎曲部に前記両絞り部(70a,70b)がそれぞれ設けられることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関。
