Abstract
【解決手段】高温で貴金属を放出し得る材料(A)と、
ジルコニア及び/又はアルミナと、アルカリ土類金属元素、希土類元素及び3A族元素からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つの元素との複合酸化物を含み且つ高温で前記材料(A)から放出された貴金属を受け取る材料(B)と、
を備えたものであることを特徴とする排ガス浄化用触媒。

Description
ジルコニア及び/又はアルミナと、アルカリ土類金属元素、希土類元素及び3A族元素からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つの元素との複合酸化物を含み且つ高温で前記材料(A)から放出された貴金属を受け取る材料(B)と、
を備えたものであることを特徴とするものである。
前記酸化物複合体に担持された貴金属からなるものであることが好ましい。
前記貴金属が、前記貴金属複合酸化物中に固溶されていることが好ましい。
ジルコニア及び/又はアルミナと、アルカリ土類金属元素、希土類元素及び3A族元素からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つの元素との複合酸化物を含み且つ高温で前記材料(A)から放出された貴金属を受け取る材料(B)と、
を備えたものであることを特徴とするものである。

CeO2−ZrO2−La2O3−Pr2O3:529.79eV
が挙げられる。
先ず、オキシ硝酸ジルコニウム水溶液(Zrとして2mmol/g含む)16gと、硝酸ランタン水溶液(Laとして2mmol/g含む)24gと、ジニトロジアンミン白金水溶液(Ptとして4質量%含む)2.94gと、ノニオン性界面活性剤(ライオン株式会社製の商品名「レオコン」)1gとを含有する水溶液200gを調製した後、この水溶液に25質量%濃度のアンモニア水17gを添加し、室温で10分間撹拌して共沈物を得た。次いで、得られた共沈物をろ過、洗浄し、110℃で乾燥させた後、更に、大気中、1000℃の温度条件下において5時間焼成して白金含有ランタン・ジルコニウム複合酸化物(Pt含有La−Zr複合酸化物:材料(A))を得た。得られたPt含有La−Zr複合酸化物中におけるLaとZrとのモル比(La:Zr)は6:4であり、Ptの含有量は1質量%であった。
材料(A)を製造する際に硝酸ランタン水溶液の代わりに硝酸バリウム水溶液(Baとして2mmol/g含む)を24g用い、ジニトロジアンミン白金水溶液(Ptとして4質量%含む)の使用量を2.94gから2.82gに変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして本発明の排ガス浄化用触媒を得た。なお、実施例2で得られた材料(A)はPt含有Ba−Zr複合酸化物であり、Pt含有Ba−Zr複合酸化物中のBaとZrとのモル比(Ba:Zr)は6:4であり、Ptの含有量は1質量%であった。
実施例1で製造されたCe−Zr複合酸化物(材料(B))を用い、Ce−Zr複合酸化物にPtの担持量が0.5質量%となるようにしてジニトロジアンミン白金水溶液(Ptとして4質量%含む)を含浸担持せしめ、比較のための排ガス浄化用触媒を得た。
実施例2で製造されたPt含有Ba−Zr複合酸化物(材料(A))をそのまま用い、これを比較のための排ガス浄化用触媒とした。
〈耐久試験1〉
モデルガス流通下において5時間、1050℃の温度条件で熱処理を施した(耐久試験1)。なお、モデルガスの流通条件は、窒素中に3容量%のCOを含むリッチガスと、窒素中に20容量%のO2を含むリーンガスとを5分ごとに交互に供給する条件とした。
試験に供される触媒中のPtの質量を等しくするため、耐久試験後の実施例1〜2及び比較例1で得られた排ガス浄化用触媒についてはそれぞれ1g用い、耐久試験後の比較例2で得られた排ガス浄化用触媒については0.5g用いて、各触媒に対して表1に示すストイキモデルガスを7L/分の流量で流し、触媒の温度を10℃/分の昇温速度で100〜500℃まで昇温し、触媒の出ガス中のHC、CO、NOxの濃度を測定し、各成分の浄化率が50%に達する温度(50%浄化温度)を測定した。各触媒のHCの50%浄化温度を表2に示す。
先ず、硝酸セリウム水溶液(CeO2として28質量%含む)24.18gと、オキシ硝酸ジルコニウム水溶液(Zrとして18質量%含む)17.95gと、ノニオン性界面活性剤(ライオン株式会社製の商品名「レオコン」)1gとを含有する水溶液200gを調製した後、この水溶液に25質量%濃度のアンモニア水13.91gを添加し、室温で10分間撹拌して共沈物を得た。次いで、得られた共沈物をろ過、洗浄し、110℃で乾燥させた後、更に、大気中、700℃の温度条件下において5時間焼成してセリウム・ジルコニウム酸化物複合体を得た。次いで、前記Ce−Zr酸化物複合体に、白金の担持量が1質量%となるようにジニトロジアンミン白金水溶液(Ptとして4質量%含む)を含浸し、110℃で乾燥させた後、大気中、500℃の温度条件で3時間焼成し、Pt担持Ce−Zr酸化物複合体(材料(A))を得た。なお、得られたPt担持Ce−Zr酸化物複合体中におけるCeとZrとのモル比(Ce:Zr)は6:4であり、Ptの担持量は1質量%であった。
実施例1で製造されたセリウム・ジルコニウム複合酸化物(材料(B))を用い、セリウム・ジルコニウム複合酸化物に、白金の担持量が0.5質量%となるようにジニトロジアンミン白金水溶液(Ptとして4質量%含む)を含浸担持せしめ、比較のための排ガス浄化用触媒を得た。
〈耐久試験2〉
モデルガス流通下において5時間、950℃の温度条件で熱処理を施した(耐久試験2)。なお、モデルガスの流通条件は、窒素中に3容量%のCOを含むリッチガスと、窒素中に20容量%のO2を含むリーンガスとを5分ごとに交互に供給する条件とした。
耐久試験2後の実施例3及び比較例3で得られた排ガス浄化用触媒を用いる以外は、前述の触媒活性評価試験1と同様の方法を採用して、触媒の出ガス中のHC、CO、NOxの濃度を測定し、各成分の浄化率が50%に達する温度(50%浄化温度)を測定した。各触媒のHCの50%浄化温度を表3に示す。
Claims (10)
- 高温で貴金属を放出し得る材料(A)と、
ジルコニア及び/又はアルミナと、アルカリ土類金属元素、希土類元素及び3A族元素からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つの元素との複合酸化物を含み且つ高温で前記材料(A)から放出された貴金属を受け取る材料(B)と、
を備えたものであることを特徴とする排ガス浄化用触媒。 - 前記材料(A)が、600℃以上の温度において、材料(A)中の貴金属の全量に対して貴金属を1時間あたり0.1〜1.0質量%の割合で放出するものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排ガス浄化用触媒。
- 前記材料(A)が、ジルコニウム、アルミニウム、アルカリ土類金属元素、希土類元素及び3A族元素からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つの元素と、貴金属とを含有する貴金属複合酸化物であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の排ガス浄化用触媒。
- 前記材料(A)が、ジルコニア及び/又はアルミナと、アルカリ土類金属元素、希土類元素及び3A族元素からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つの元素の酸化物とを含有する酸化物複合体、並びに、
前記酸化物複合体に担持された貴金属からなるものであることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のうちのいずれか一項に記載の排ガス浄化用触媒。 - 前記材料(B)中の酸素1s軌道の結合エネルギーの値が531eV以下の値を示すことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のうちのいずれか一項に記載の排ガス浄化用触媒。
- 前記材料(B)が、ジルコニア及び/又はアルミナと、マグネシウム、カルシウム、バリウム、ランタン、セリウム、ネオジウム、プラセオジウム、イットリウム及びスカンジウムからなる群から選択される少なくとも一種の元素との複合酸化物であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のうちのいずれか一項に記載の排ガス浄化用触媒。
- 前記材料(A)が、800℃以上の温度において、材料(A)中の貴金属の全量に対して貴金属を1時間あたり0.1〜1.0質量%の割合で放出するものであることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のうちのいずれか一項に記載の排ガス浄化用触媒。
- 前記材料(A)が、ジルコニウム、アルミニウム、アルカリ土類金属元素、希土類元素及び3A族元素からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つの元素と、貴金属とを含有する貴金属複合酸化物であり、且つ、
前記貴金属が、前記貴金属複合酸化物中に固溶されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の排ガス浄化用触媒。 - 前記材料(A)が、前記貴金属と、前記貴金属以外の金属との合金であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の排ガス浄化用触媒。
- 前記材料(B)の少なくとも一部に貴金属が担持されていることを特徴とする請求項7〜9のうちのいずれか一項に記載の排ガス浄化用触媒。
