Claims (39)
- 第1の共振周波数に同調された主アンテナと、
前記主アンテナの共振周波数を動的に変化させるスイッチング回路とを含む、無線認証(RFID)タグ。 - 容量素子を更に含み、前記スイッチング回路が、前記主アンテナの共振周波数を変化させるべく、前記容量素子を選択的に前記主アンテナと電気的に接続する、請求項1に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 前記スイッチング回路が、前記主アンテナの共振周波数を低下させるべく、前記容量素子を前記主アンテナと並列に接続する、請求項2に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 前記容量素子が、コンデンサ、ダイオード、およびトランジスタのうち1つを含む、請求項2に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 誘導素子を更に含み、前記スイッチング回路が、前記主アンテナの共振周波数を動的に変化させるべく、前記誘導素子を選択的に前記主アンテナと電気的に接続する、請求項1に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 第1の長さを有する第1の導電トレースと、
第2の長さを有する第2の導電トレースと、を更に含み、第1の長さが第2の長さより長く、更に、前記スイッチング回路が、前記主アンテナの共振周波数を変化させるべく、前記第1の導電トレースまたは第2の導電トレースを前記主アンテナと選択的に接続する、請求項1に記載のRFIDタグ。 - 前記スイッチング回路が、共振周波数を変化させるべく異なる電気素子を選択するマイクロ電子機械システム(MEMS)スイッチを含む、請求項1に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 前記スイッチング回路が、蓄積された電荷に基づいて、前記主アンテナの共振周波数を変化させる容量スイッチを含む、請求項1に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 隣接するタグとの電磁結合の量を検出する検知回路を更に含み、前記スイッチング回路が、検出された電磁結合の量に基づいて、前記主アンテナの共振周波数を選択的に増減させる、請求項1に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 前記スイッチング回路が、前記検知回路内の電流が閾値を超えた場合にオンになるトランジスタを含む、請求項9に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 前記スイッチング回路が更に、前記トランジスタがオンになる閾値を調整する分圧器を実現すべく構成された第1の抵抗器および第2の抵抗器を含む、請求項10に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 第2の共振周波数に同調された検知アンテナを更に含み、前記スイッチング回路が、前記検知アンテナ内で誘導された電流の量に基づいて、前記主アンテナの共振周波数を変化させる、請求項1に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 前記主アンテナと前記検知アンテナが同一平面上にある、請求項12に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 前記検知アンテナが約13.56メガヘルツ(MHz)に同調されていて、前記主アンテナが約20MHzに同調されている、請求項12に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 前記スイッチング回路が、前記RFIDタグに無線周波数場を適用または除去した際に、前記主アンテナの共振周波数を自動的に変化させる、請求項1に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 前記主アンテナと電気的に結合されていて、関連付けられた物品の情報を格納し、前記主アンテナを介して前記情報をRFID読取装置へ伝送するRFID集積回路を更に含む、請求項1に記載のRFIDタグ。
- 無線認証(RFID)タグの主アンテナを、関連付けられた共振周波数で動作させるステップと、
前記主アンテナの共振周波数を動的に変化させるステップとを含む方法。 - 前記共振周波数を動的に変化させるステップが、前記主アンテナの共振周波数を選択的に増減すべく、容量素子を主アンテナに選択的に接続するステップを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記容量素子がコンデンサ、ダイオード、およびトランジスタのうち1つを含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記共振周波数を動的に変化させるステップが、前記主アンテナの共振周波数を変化させるべく、誘導素子を前記主アンテナと選択的に接続するステップを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記共振周波数を動的に変化させるステップが、前記主アンテナの共振周波数を変化させるべく、前記主アンテナに第1の長さを有する第1の導電トレース、または第2の長さを有する第2の導電トレースを選択的に接続するステップを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記RFIDタグと隣接するRFIDタグ間の電磁結合の量を検出するステップと、
前記検出された電磁結合の量に基づいて、前記主アンテナに関連付けられた共振周波数を動的に変化させるステップと、を更に含む、請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記RFIDタグが、前記主アンテナと関連付けられた共振周波数とは異なる共振周波数を有する検知アンテナを含み、前記共振周波数を動的に変化させるステップが、検知アンテナ内で誘導された電流が閾値を上回った場合に前記主アンテナに関連付けられた共振周波数を動的に変化させるステップを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記検知アンテナの共振周波数が約13.56メガヘルツ(MHz)に同調されていて、前記主アンテナの共振周波数が約20MHzに同調されている、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記共振周波数を動的に変化させるステップが、前記RFIDタグに無線周波数場を適用または除去した際に、前記主アンテナの共振周波数を動的に変化させるステップを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- RFID呼掛け装置と、
物品に関連付けられたRFIDタグであって、前記呼掛け装置が前記物品に関する情報を取得すべく呼掛けるRFIDタグと、
前記RFID呼掛け装置から取得された情報を処理するコンピュータ装置とを含み、
前記RFIDタグが、第1の共振周波数に同調された主アンテナと、前記主アンテナと電気的に結合されていて前記関連付けられた物品の情報を格納する集積回路と、前記主アンテナの共振周波数を調整すべく、1個以上の素子を前記主アンテナと選択的に接続するスイッチング回路とを含む、無線認証(RFID)システム。 - 前記1個以上の素子が容量素子を含み、前記スイッチング回路が、前記容量素子を前記主アンテナと選択的に接続する、請求項26に記載に記載のシステム。
- スイッチング回路が、前記主アンテナの共振周波数を低下させるべく、前記容量素子を前記主アンテナと並列に接続する、請求項27に記載のシステム。
- 前記容量素子が、コンデンサ、ダイオード、およびトランジスタのうち1つを含む、請求項27に記載のシステム。
- 前記1個以上の素子が誘導素子を含み、前記スイッチング回路が前記誘導素子を前記主アンテナと選択的に接続する、請求項26に記載のシステム。
- 前記1個以上の素子が、第1の長さを有する第1の導電トレースと、第2の長さを有する第2の導電トレースとを含み、前記スイッチング回路が、前記第1の導電トレースまたは第2の導電トレースを前記主アンテナと選択的に接続する、請求項26に記載のシステム。
- 前記スイッチング回路が、マイクロ電子機械システム(MEMS)スイッチと容量スイッチのうち1つを含む、請求項26に記載のシステム。
- 隣接するRFIDタグとの電磁結合の量を検出する検知回路を更に含み、前記スイッチング回路が、検出された電磁結合の量に基づいて、前記主アンテナの共振周波数を選択的に増減させるべく前記1個以上の素子を前記主アンテナと選択的に接続する、請求項26に記載のシステム。
- 前記検知回路が、前記第1の共振周波数とは異なる第2の共振周波数に同調する検知アンテナを含み、前記スイッチング回路が、前記センサアンテナ内の電流が閾値を超えた場合に前記1個以上の素子を前記主アンテナと選択的に接続する、請求項33に記載のシステム。
- 前記スイッチング回路が、前記検知アンテナ内の電流が閾値を超えた場合にオンとなるトランジスタを含む、請求項34に記載のシステム。
- 前記スイッチング回路が更に、前記トランジスタがオンになる閾値を調整する分圧器を実現すべく構成された第1の抵抗器および第2の抵抗器を含む、請求項35に記載のシステム。
- 前記主アンテナと前記検知アンテナが同一平面上にある、請求項33に記載のシステム。
- 前記検知アンテナが約13.56メガヘルツ(MHz)に同調されていて、前記主アンテナが約20MHzに同調されている、請求項33に記載のシステム。
