Description
Claims (35)
- 網膜の自家蛍光を測定するための装置であって、
フラビンタンパク質自家蛍光の励起に対応する波長で励起光を放出するように構成された励起光源と、
前記励起光に反応して生成される網膜蛍光信号を表す単一画像を記録するように構成された画像キャプチャ装置であって、
前記網膜蛍光信号から背景波長を低減するフィルタと、
前記網膜蛍光信号の強度を増大させるように構成されたイメージインテンシフィアと、を含む画像キャプチャ装置と、を備える装置。 - 前記励起光源が水銀ランプである、請求項1記載の網膜自家蛍光測定装置。
- 前記励起光源がレーザである、請求項1記載の網膜自家蛍光測定装置。
- 前記励起光がダイクロイックリフレクタを使用して前記網膜に対して位置合わせされる、請求項1記載の網膜自家蛍光測定装置。
- 前記励起光が光ファイバシステムを使用して前記網膜に対して位置合わせされる、請求項1記載の網膜自家蛍光測定装置。
- 前記画像キャプチャ装置が電荷結合素子である、請求項1記載の網膜自家蛍光測定装置。
- 前記画像キャプチャ装置がスチルカメラである、請求項1記載の網膜自家蛍光測定装置。
- 前記画像キャプチャ装置が冷却電荷結合素子カメラである、請求項1記載の網膜自家蛍光測定装置。
- 前記イメージインテンシフィアが少なくとも100のゲインファクタを含む、請求項1記載の網膜自家蛍光測定装置。
- 前記画像キャプチャ装置が、前記網膜によって生成された前記網膜蛍光信号の単一画像をキャプチャするようにサイジングされた視野を有する、請求項1記載の網膜自家蛍光測定装置。
- 第2の保存されている網膜蛍光信号に対して前記網膜蛍光信号を分析するようにプログラムされたプロセッサをさらに備える、請求項1記載の網膜自家蛍光測定装置。
- 前記網膜蛍光信号を分析してコントラストの変化を判定するようにプログラムされたプロセッサをさらに備える、請求項1記載の網膜自家蛍光測定装置。
- 前記プロセッサが、前記網膜蛍光信号を分析して局所的なコントラストの変化を判定するようにプログラムされた、請求項12記載の網膜自家蛍光測定装置。
- 前記プロセッサが、前記網膜蛍光信号を分析してコントラストの変化の速度を判定するようにプログラムされた、請求項12記載の網膜自家蛍光測定装置。
- 前記フィルタが、フラビンタンパク質自家蛍光に関連する波長を超える波長を低減する、請求項1記載の網膜自家蛍光測定装置。
- 網膜の代謝活性を非侵襲的に測定する方法であって、
画像検出装置を対象網膜に対して位置合わせするステップと、
励起光源を対象網膜に対して位置合わせするステップと、
前記励起光源によって生成された励起光を放出して前記対象網膜の網膜自家蛍光を誘起するステップと、
前記誘起された網膜自家蛍光を表す単一画像をキャプチャするステップと、
前記単一画像を強化して前記網膜自家蛍光の信号強度を増大させるステップと、
前記単一画像を分析してコントラストを判定するステップと、を備える方法。 - 前記励起光源を位置合わせする前記ステップが、ダイクロイックリフレクタを位置合わせして前記励起光を前記対象網膜に向けるステップを含む、請求項16記載の網膜の代謝活性の非侵襲的測定方法。
- 前記励起光源を位置合わせする前記ステップが、光ファイバシステムを位置合わせして前記励起光を前記対象網膜に向けるステップを含む、請求項16記載の網膜の代謝活性の非侵襲的測定方法。
- 前記画像検出装置を位置合わせする前記ステップが、電荷結合素子カメラを位置合わせするステップを含む、請求項16記載の網膜の代謝活性の非侵襲的測定方法。
- 前記画像検出装置を位置合わせする前記ステップが、スチルカメラを位置合わせするステップを含む、請求項16記載の網膜の代謝活性の非侵襲的測定方法。
- 前記画像検出装置を位置合わせする前記ステップが、イメージインテンシフィアを位置合わせするステップを含む、請求項20記載の網膜の代謝活性の非侵襲的測定方法。
- 前記励起光源を位置合わせする前記ステップが、約450nmの励起波長で前記励起光を生成するステップを含む、請求項16記載の網膜の代謝活性の非侵襲的測定方法。
- 前記対象網膜に与えられる周辺光の量を低減するステップをさらに含む、請求項16記載の網膜の代謝活性の非侵襲的測定方法。
- フラビンタンパク質自家蛍光に関連する波長を超える前記誘起された網膜自家蛍光をフィルタ除去するステップをさらに含む、請求項16記載の網膜の代謝活性の非侵襲的測定方法。
- 前記単一画像をキャプチャする前記ステップが、フラビンタンパク質に特有の自家蛍光を表す画像をキャプチャするステップを含む、請求項16記載の網膜の代謝活性の非侵襲的測定方法。
- 前記単一画像を分析する前記ステップが、前記単一画像と第2の保存されている単一画像とを比較するステップを含む、請求項16記載の網膜の代謝活性の非侵襲的測定方法。
- 前記単一画像を分析する前記ステップが、局所的なコントラストの変化を判定するステップを含む、請求項16記載の網膜の代謝活性の非侵襲的測定方法。
- 前記単一画像を分析する前記ステップが、コントラストの変化の速度を判定するステップを含む、請求項16記載の網膜の代謝活性の非侵襲的測定方法。
- 少なくとも1つの対物レンズを前記画像検出装置と前記対象網膜との間で位置合わせするステップをさらに含む、請求項16記載の網膜の代謝活性の非侵襲的測定方法。
- 網膜の代謝活性を非侵襲的に測定するために標準的な画像形成装置をアップグレードする方法であって、
標準的な光源の代わりに、フィルタされた励起光を生成する励起光源を使用するステップと、
画像検出装置を位置合わせして、前記フィルタされた励起光に反応して生成された網膜自家蛍光を表す単一画像を検出するステップと、
インテンシフィアを使用して前記単一画像の強度を増大させるステップと、を備える方法。 - フラビンタンパク質自家蛍光に関連する波長を超える波長を検出しないように、フィルタを前記画像検出装置と対象網膜との間で位置合わせするステップをさらに備える、請求項30記載の標準画像形成装置のアップグレード方法。
- 前記励起光源を提供する前記ステップが水銀ランプを提供するステップを含む、請求項30記載の標準画像形成装置のアップグレード方法。
- 前記励起光源を提供する前記ステップがレーザを提供するステップを含む、請求項30記載の標準画像形成装置のアップグレード方法。
- 前記フィルタされた励起光を生成する前記ステップが、約450nmの波長で光を発生させるステップを含む、請求項30記載の標準画像形成装置のアップグレード方法。
- 少なくとも1つの対物レンズを位置合わせして前記検出された単一画像をスケーリングするステップをさらに備える、請求項30記載の標準画像形成装置のアップグレード方法。
