- ミクロスフィアの層と、

ミクロスフィアの層と光学的に関連して配置された反射コーティングと、
を含んでなる色シフティング再帰反射物品であって、
反射コーティングが、
ミクロスフィアの層に隣接する半透明の第1の反射層と、
第1の反射層に隣接する少なくとも部分的に透明のスペーサー層と、
スペーサー層が第1の反射層と第2の反射層との間にあるようにスペーサー層に隣接する第2の反射層と、
を含んでなり、
反射コーティングが可視光を不均一に反射し、そして少なくとも複数のミクロスフィアの各ミクロスフィアと関連する反射コーティングの予め定められた第1の領域が第1の厚さを備え、そして少なくとも複数のミクロスフィアの各ミクロスフィアと関連する反射コーティングの予め定められた第2の領域が、第1の厚さとは異なる第2の厚さを備える、色シフティング再帰反射物品。 - ミクロスフィアの層を提供する工程と、

第1の反射層上で少なくとも部分的に透明のスペーサー層を堆積させる工程と、
スペーサー層上で第2の反射層を堆積させる工程と、
を含んでなり、
第1の方向から物品上に入射する光が第1の色で再帰反射され、そして第2の方向から物品に入射する光が、第1の色とは視覚的に異なる第2の色で再帰反射されるように、複数のミクロスフィアの各々に反射コーティングの各層の少なくとも一層における不均一な厚さを提供するように反射コーティングが形成される、色シフティング再帰反射物品の製造方法。
