Claims (3)

  1. ミクロスフィアの層と、
    ミクロスフィアの層と光学的に関連して配置された反射コーティングと、
    を含んでなる色シフティング再帰反射物品であって、
    反射コーティングが、半透明の第１の反射層と第２の反射層との間に配置された少なくとも部分的に透明のスペーサー層を含んでなり、そして第１の方向から物品上に入射する光が第１の色で再帰反射され、そして第２の方向から物品上に入射する光が、第１の色とは視覚的に異なる第２の色で再帰反射されるように、反射コーティングの少なくとも一層が複数のミクロスフィアの各々と関連する不均一な厚さを備える、色シフティング再帰反射物品。
  2. ミクロスフィアの層と、
    ミクロスフィアの層と光学的に関連して配置された反射コーティングと、
    を含んでなる色シフティング再帰反射物品であって、
    反射コーティングが、
    ミクロスフィアの層に隣接する半透明の第１の反射層と、
    第１の反射層に隣接する少なくとも部分的に透明のスペーサー層と、
    スペーサー層が第１の反射層と第２の反射層との間にあるようにスペーサー層に隣接する第２の反射層と、
    を含んでなり、
    反射コーティングが可視光を不均一に反射し、そして少なくとも複数のミクロスフィアの各ミクロスフィアと関連する反射コーティングの予め定められた第１の領域が第１の厚さを備え、そして少なくとも複数のミクロスフィアの各ミクロスフィアと関連する反射コーティングの予め定められた第２の領域が、第１の厚さとは異なる第２の厚さを備える、色シフティング再帰反射物品。
  3. ミクロスフィアの層を提供する工程と、
    ミクロスフィアの層と光学的に関連する反射コーティングを形成する工程と、
    を含んでなる色シフティング再帰反射物品の製造方法であって、
    反射コーティングを形成する工程が
    ミクロスフィアの層に隣接する半透明の第１の反射層を堆積させる工程と、
    第１の反射層上で少なくとも部分的に透明のスペーサー層を堆積させる工程と、
    スペーサー層上で第２の反射層を堆積させる工程と、
    を含んでなり、
    第１の方向から物品上に入射する光が第１の色で再帰反射され、そして第２の方向から物品に入射する光が、第１の色とは視覚的に異なる第２の色で再帰反射されるように、複数のミクロスフィアの各々に反射コーティングの各層の少なくとも一層における不均一な厚さを提供するように反射コーティングが形成される、色シフティング再帰反射物品の製造方法。
