Abstract
Description
Mホ゜リエチレン=a*(Mホ゜リスチレン)b
から求める。上記式においては、a=0.4316およびb=1.0である。重量平均分子量Mwは、通常の方式で、次の式:Mw=Σwi*Mi(式中、wi及びMiは、GPCカラムから溶出するi番目の画分の、それぞれ重量分率および分子量である)に従って算出する。
Mw/Mn≦(I10/I2)−4.63
実質的に直鎖状のエチレンポリマー類においては、I10/I2比は長鎖分枝の程度を示し、すなわちI10/I2比が大きくなればなるほどポリマー中の長鎖分枝が多くなる。
本発明の通気性フィルム類は、以下の方法で形成可能である。一般的には、構成成分、ならびに、スリップ剤、アンチブロック剤、および、ポリマー加工所剤類のような任意の追加の添加剤類を押出ブレンドすることが適切である。押出ブレンドは、適度な分散が達成されるような方法で行うべきである。押出ブレンドのパラメータは、当然に成分によって異なる。しかし、一般的には、全体的なポリマーの変形、すなわち、混合の程度が重要であり、例えば、スクリュー設計および溶融温度によってコントロールされる。

Claims (26)
- 少なくとも1つの熱可塑性ポリマーを含み、および、少なくとも以下の特性、a)空気透過度が最低でも約20m3/時、または、b)ガーレイ透過度数(ASTM試験)が約35秒よりも低い、を有することにより特徴づけられるフィルム。
- 前記フィルムが前記特性を両方とも有する、請求項1のフィルム。
- 穿孔密度が最低でも約350,000ミクロン2/インチ2である、請求項1のフィルム。
- 穿孔密度が最低でも約500,000ミクロン2/インチ2である、請求項1のフィルム。
- 孔の平均数密度が、約6から約50孔/インチ2である、請求項1のフィルム。
- 個々の孔面積の平均が、約10,000ミクロン2から約70,000ミクロン2である、請求項1のフィルム。
- 最小孔径が約100ミクロンである、請求項1のフィルム。
- 少なくとも1つの熱可塑性ポリマーを含むフィルムまたはシートから製造される、粉体または粒状物質の包装袋であり、ここで前記フィルムまたはシートの透気度が最低でも約20m3/時である、包装袋。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーがポリエチレンである、請求項1のフィルム。
- 前記ポリエチレンのメルトインデックスが約0.2から約5グラム/10分であり、密度が約0.9から約0.97グラム/立方センチメートルであり、および、分子量分布、Mw/Mnが約1.5から約5である、請求項9のフィルム。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーが、ポリプロピレンのホモポリマー類およびインターポリマー類、ポリエチレンのホモポリマー類およびインターポリマー類、ならびにそれらのブレンド類からなる群より選択される、請求項1のフィルム。
- 厚みが約1ミルから約20ミルである、請求項8の袋。
- 厚みが約2ミルから約6ミルである、請求項8の袋。
- 約10kgから約100kgの重量を含む、請求項8の袋。
- 前記フィルムが、ワックス相溶化剤を含まないことで特徴づけられる、請求項1のフィルム。
- 前記フィルムが、無機フィラーを含まないことで特徴づけられる、請求項1のフィルム。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーが、
(1)密度が約0.87から約0.96g/cm3であり、
(2)分子量分布、Mw/Mnが約5以下であり、および、
(3)ASTM D−1238、条件190℃/2.16kgに基づき測定したメルトインデックス、I2が約0.5から約20.0dg/分である直鎖状エチレンポリマーまたは実質的に直鎖状のエチレンポリマー、および、
ポリプロピレン、または、それらのブレンド類からなる群より選択される、請求項1のフィルム。 - 前記直鎖状または実質的に直鎖状のエチレンポリマーが、エチレンおよび1−オクテン、エチレンおよび1−ブテン、エチレンおよび1−ヘキセン、エチレンおよび1−ペンテン、エチレンおよび1−ヘプテン、エチレンおよび4−メチルペンテン−1、および、それらの混合物からなる群より選択されたコポリマーを含む、請求項17のフィルム。
- GPPS、HIPS、ABS、SAN、ナイロン、スチレンブロック共重合体類、またはそれらの混合物をさらに含む、請求項1のフィルム。
- (a)フィルムの製造に適する熱可塑性ポリマーを選択し、
(b)前記熱可塑性ポリマーからブロウンまたはキャストフィルムを形成し、ここで前記フィルムを約175から約260℃の溶融温度、および、約2.5から約3.7のBURを用いて形成し、
(c)前記フィルムを、前記フィルムのガーレイ透気度数(ASTM試験)を約35秒より低くするのに十分な条件下で穿孔することを含む、通気性フィルムの形成方法。 - 最低でも2層を有するフィルム構造体であり、ここで、各層の孔径傾斜(hole size gradient)が他の層と異なる、フィルム構造体。
- 各層の孔間隔傾斜(hole spacing gradient)が他の層と異なる、請求項21のフィルム構造体。
- 各層の孔径傾斜が他の層とずれている、請求項23のフィルム構造体。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーが官能化ポリマーである、請求項1のフィルム構造体。
- 前記官能化熱可塑性ポリマーが、無水マレイン酸グラフト化ポリエチレンを含む、請求
