Abstract
Description
燃料、酸化剤、冷媒を送るための開口部と;
少なくとも1つの面に燃料又は酸化剤の循環用の通路を有する2つの対向面と;
燃料又は酸化剤の循環通路と同一面になるように、燃料又は酸化剤の循環用の通路が形成された単数又は複数の同一面上に位置する少なくとも1つの冷却通路と;を有し、
これにより、フィードプレートの厚さは、最小化され、活性領域の中心部で冷却が発生する。それ故、冷却がより効果的になる。

Claims (14)
- 少なくとも1つの燃料電池のフィードプレートであり;
燃料(3,30)、酸化剤(2,20)、冷媒(4,40,54,59)を送るための開口部と;
少なくとも1つの面に燃料又は酸化剤の循環用の通路(21,22,61)を有する2つの対向面(1A,1B,51A,51B)と;
燃料又は酸化剤の循環用の通路が形成された、単数又は複数の同一面側に位置して、これら燃料又は酸化剤の第一循環通路と同一面になるようにする、少なくとも1つの冷却通路(41,53)と;を有し、
燃料(22)及び酸化剤(21)のそれぞれの循環用の第一通路は、プレートの両面(1A,1B)上に位置して、冷却がプレートの両面で発生し、従ってプレートが双極プレートを構成して、単一の冷却通路(41)が両面(1A,1B)に位置して、結果として、分岐路(42)と同様に、一面から他の面にプレートを貫通して複数の通路が備えられることを特徴とする、フィードプレート。 - 前記冷却通路の入口及び出口は、この冷却通路が位置する面と反対側の面に位置し、この冷却通路はプレートを厚さ方向に貫通する、ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のフィードプレート。
- 異なる循環通路は、プレート上の1組の位置にまとまっている入口及び出口を有し、酸化剤、燃料及び冷媒を送るための開口部も同様に形成されている、ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のフィードプレート。
- 前記循環通路(21,22,61)及び単数又は複数の冷却通路(41,53)の軌道は、互いに交互に配列されて、それ故同一の経路をたどることを特徴とする、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のフィードプレート。
- 前記プレートの循環通路(21,22,61)の軌道は、ジグザグ形態であることを特徴とする、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のフィードプレート。
- 単数又は複数の前記冷却通路は、プレートの長さの大部分に亘って入口及び出口が配置される分岐路(42,55)を有していることを特徴とする、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載のフィードプレート。
- 前記燃料、酸化剤、及び冷媒用の循環通路の軌道は、くし形構造を形成するように互いに平行していることを特徴とする、請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載のフィードプレート。
- 一面における通路の方向が、他の面の通路の方向に対して90度でオフセットしていることを特徴とする、請求項1または請求項7に記載のフィードプレート。
- 前記冷却通路(41)によってプレートを貫通する経路が各分岐路(42)の端部で貫通経路(43)によって発生し、プレートの貫通経路で冷却通路に対して90度の方向変化を有することを特徴とする、請求項6または請求項8に記載のフィードプレート。
- 第一面上の平行な冷却通路(104)に交互に配置される第一面上の燃料循環用第一通路(102)と、第二面上の平行な冷却通路(104)に交互に配置される酸化剤循環用通路(103)を形成して、第一面上の通路が第二面上の通路に対して分離されて、その逆も同様となり、全ての通路が同一面上に位置して、プレートが双極プレートを構成するように、波形プレートの形態をとることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のフィードプレート。
- 前記プレートは、流通開口部がせん孔されたフレームによって囲まれ得る波形シートであることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のフィードプレート。
- 単数又は複数の前記冷却通路(41,53)又はこれらの分岐路(42)は、酸化剤又は燃料の循環用の複数の通路(21,22,61)間に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1から請求項9のいずれか1項に記載のフィードプレート。
- 前記冷媒は水であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のフィードプレート。
- 前記プレートは、ポリマーグラファイト複合材料からなることを特徴とする、請求項1から請求項9、及び請求項12及び/又は請求項13、のいずれか1項に記載のフィードプレート。
