Abstract
【解決手段】該酸化銀粒子の表面は、脂肪酸のような界面活性剤の極めて薄い層で被覆されている。本発明にかかるナノサイズ酸化銀粒子は、銀塩水溶液と、少なくとも部分的に水混和性である有機溶媒中に溶解した界面活性剤とを含む混合物に、強塩基を添加することにより好適に形成される。強塩基は、酸化銀をナノサイズ粒子として混合物から析出させ、該析出物は直ちに界面活性剤で被包されて、さらなる結晶成長及びオズワルド熟成から保護される。界面活性剤で被覆されたナノサイズ酸化銀粒子は、洗浄及び乾燥して、乾燥状態で輸送できる。

Claims (20)
- 水に溶解した銀塩を含む第1溶液と、有機溶媒に溶解した界面活性剤を含む第2溶液とを混合して混合物とし、
該混合物を塩基と接触させて、少なくとも部分的に界面活性剤で被包された酸化銀粒子を析出させることを特徴とする酸化銀粒子の形成方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、第1溶液が脱イオン水に溶解した硝酸銀を含むことを特徴とする酸化銀粒子の形成方法。
- 請求項2記載の方法において、有機溶媒が水に完全混和性であることを特徴とする酸化銀粒子の形成方法。
- 請求項2記載の方法において、有機溶媒が、アセトンであることを特徴とする酸化銀粒子の形成方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、界面活性剤が、脂肪酸又は脂肪酸誘導体を含むことを特徴とする酸化銀粒子の形成方法。
- 請求項5記載の方法において、脂肪酸がオレイン酸であることを特徴とする酸化銀粒子の形成方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、塩基が、水酸化ナトリウム及び水酸化カリウムから成る群から選択されることを特徴とする酸化銀粒子の形成方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、さらに、混合物から界面活性剤で被包された酸化銀粒子を分離し、この界面活性剤で被包された酸化銀粒子を洗浄することを特徴とする酸化銀粒子の形成方法。
- 請求項8記載の方法において、界面活性剤で被包された酸化銀粒子を、水及びアセトンで順次洗浄することを特徴とする酸化銀粒子の形成方法。
- 請求項8記載の方法において、さらに、洗浄した界面活性剤被包酸化銀粒子を乾燥することを特徴とする酸化銀粒子の形成方法。
- 請求項10記載の方法において、さらに、乾燥した界面活性剤被包酸化銀粒子を選別して凝集物を除去することを特徴とする酸化銀粒子の形成方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、界面活性剤で被包された酸化銀粒子の平均粒径が、約100nm以下であることを特徴とする酸化銀粒子の形成方法。
- 約100nm以下の平均粒径である酸化銀粒子を含む組成物において、酸化銀粒子が、オズワルド熟成を阻害する界面活性剤で被包されていることを特徴とする組成物。
- 請求項13記載の組成物において、界面活性剤が脂肪酸であることを特徴とする組成物。
- 請求項14記載の組成物において、脂肪酸がオレイン酸であることを特徴とする組成物。
- 請求項13記載の組成物において、酸化銀粒子が乾燥粉体状態であることを特徴とする組成物。
- 請求項13記載の組成物において、酸化銀粒子が液状キャリア中に分散されていることを特徴とする組成物。
- 電子デバイスの導電性薄膜の形成に使用されるインク組成物であって、キャリア中に分散された界面活性剤で被包されている酸化銀粒子を含むインク組成物。
- 請求項18記載のインク組成物において、界面活性剤が脂肪酸であることを特徴とするインク組成物。
- 請求項19記載のインク組成物において、脂肪酸がオレイン酸であり、酸化銀粒子の平均粒径が約100nm以下であることを特徴とするインク組成物。
