Description
(連続した湿式屈曲及び磨耗後の導電性の試験方法)
時間の経過に伴う着用又は使用耐久性の加速インジケータとして本方法を使用した。本発明の例に従って準備されたサンプルを試験した。36cm x 71cmの織物表面の一連のサンプルを裁断した。例に記述されているように、長さが約55〜70cmのケーブルを織物に固定した。
しばしば、手触りとも呼ばれる曲げ剛性は、Handle−O−Meter(Model 211−5、Thwing Albert Instrument Company, Philadelphia, PA)を使用し、ケーブルと、本発明の方法によって布地に固定されたケーブルと、について試験した。1000グラムの梁を使用し、1.2cmのスロットを通じて試験標本を押した。計器により、スロットを通じた試験標本の移動に抵抗する力を計測した。この布地の曲げ剛性に関係する抵抗力をデジタル的に計測及び表示した。ピーク抵抗力を記録し、これを使用してサンプルを比較した。テープによって織物に固定されているケーブルの場合には、サンプルサイズは、10cm x 10cmである。付着していないケーブルの場合には、サンプルは、ケーブル自体であった。
サンプルの洗濯耐久性を判定するべく、ISO6330:1984 Procedure No. 3Bに概説されている条件に略準拠して、サンプルを洗濯し、乾燥させた。具体的には、媒体である水のレベルが約18ガロン(即ち、0.0681m3に等しい)、湯の温度が約華氏140度(即ち、摂氏60度に等しい)、及び10分間に設定されたすすぎサイクル及び強力な洗濯サイクルに設定されており、約90gのTIDE(登録商標)粉洗濯石鹸を有する上部投入型洗濯機内に、4ポンド(約2Kg)の洗濯物負荷として、サンプルを投入した。約35〜45分の乾燥時間のHot設定により、サンプルを回転乾燥機内において乾燥させた。この洗濯/乾燥方式を5回反復した。本発明のテープによって固定されたケーブルを有する織物の場合には、テープの外観を評価し、ケーブルのいずれかの端部上の基板導電体に接触することにより、Fluke 21 IIIマルチメーターを使用してケーブルの電気直流抵抗を計測した。
本発明の構造によって製造された布地体の織物及び継ぎ目が防液性を有しているどうかを判定するには、Suter試験手順を使用する(これは、ISO811−1981の記述内容に略基づいている)。この手順においては、試験サンプルの1つの面に対して水を加圧することによって試験対象のサンプルに低圧の負荷をかけ、水がサンプルを透過した標識について他方の面を観察する。
エラストマー系熱可塑性ポリウレタン接着剤テープによって固定されたケーブルを具備する36cm x 71cmの織物パネルを形成した。
例1に記述されているものと類似した2L MI260に対して、例1の方法に実質的に類似した方式で、導電性ケーブルを2層(2L)GORE−SEAM(登録商標)Tape(品番4GNAL022NAT、 W. L. Gore & Assoc., Inc., Elkton, MD)によって固定した。Gore seam sealing machineを使用し、約625℃のエアノズル温度、約4.6m/分のシーリング速度、及び約103.4kPaの気圧により、ラミネートとテープ間においてケーブルを固定した。
以下、例7〜11の導電体ケーブルについて説明する。例2〜6と同一のテープにより、例2〜6に記述されている2L Gore−Tex(登録商標)MI260ラミネート(W. L. Gore & Assoc., Inc., Elkton, MD)の36cm x 70cmのセクションに対して、約60cmの長さを具備する導電体ケーブルを固定した。Gore seam sealing machineを使用し、約625℃のエアノズル温度、約4.6m/分の稼働速度、及び約103.4kPaの気圧を使用してケーブルをラミネートに固定した。ケーブルは、例2〜6の方法に実質的に類似した方式で織物に固定した。
三次元布地体へのケーブルの付着について示し、本発明の方法によって付着されたケーブルの洗濯耐久性について試験する。
織物(3層GORE−TEX(登録商標)布地、W. L. Gore & Assoc., Inc., Elkton, MD)から、縫製が完了したジャケットを組み立てた。リボンケーブル内の適切なワイヤを端子基板にはんだ付けすることにより、3つの12導電体リボンケーブル(Gore MSTC 12、W. L. Gore & Associates, Pleinfeld, Germany)から4つの電子モジュール用のコネクタを具備する相互接続システムを組み立てた。アクリル系の感圧接着剤転移テープを2.5mm幅に細長く切断し、3mmの幅を具備するリボンケーブルの1つの面に適用した。接着剤転移テープから剥離紙を除去し、ケーブルと感圧接着剤を指で織物に加圧することにより、衣服の内部面上において、衣服の継ぎ目に沿い、且つ、織物パネル及び継ぎ目を跨ってケーブルをルーティングした。
ケーブルの曲げ剛性を評価する。本発明の付着方法によって固定されたケーブルを具備した織物の曲げ剛性を試験する。
Claims (81)
- 少なくとも2枚の結合された織物パネルと、
ケーブル側部表面を具備する所定長のケーブルであって、少なくとも2枚の織物パネルの少なくとも一部にわたって延在している所定長のケーブルと、
前記所定長のケーブルをカバーし、これに接着する接着剤を有するテープであって、前記接着剤は、ケーブル側部表面を超えて前記織物パネル上に延在し、前記織物パネルに接着している、テープと、
を有し、
前記ケーブルは、前記テープと前記織物パネル間において固定されている布地体。 - 前記ケーブルは、少なくとも2回の洗濯サイクルにわたって固定した状態に留まる請求項1記載の布地体。
- 前記ケーブルは、少なくとも5回の洗濯サイクルにわたって固定した状態に留まる請求項1記載の布地体。
- 前記ケーブル内の導電体の直流(DC)抵抗値が、2回の洗濯サイクルの後に、100Ω/mを下回っている請求項1記載の布地体。
- 前記ケーブル内の導電体の直流(DC)抵抗値が、5回の洗濯サイクルの後に、100Ω/mを下回っている又はこれと等しい請求項1記載の布地体。
- 前記ケーブルは、1つ又は複数の伝送要素を具備している請求項1記載の布地体。

前記テープ接着剤によって前記テープを前記布地体に接着させ、これにより、前記ケーブルを前記布地体に固定する段階と、

前記加熱コンポーネントによって前記テープ接着剤を溶かす段階と、
前記テープ及びケーブルを具備する前記織物を前記2つのローラーを通じて供給する段階と、
