本実施の形態例では、楔状部材35、楔状部材36の内周面35a、内周面36aと対向する外歯歯車31の円筒部31fの外周面と、楔状部材35、楔状部材36の外周面35b、外周面36bと対向するブッシュ34の外周面(内歯歯車32の貫通穴32fの内周面)とが、回転シャフト33の軸方向で略同じ位置にあるようにした。

内歯32bが平面であるリクライニング装置では、シートバック側に30kgの負荷を加えた場合と、無負荷の場合とで測定を行った。
図に示すように、内歯32bが平面であるリクライニング装置の方が、内歯32bがインボリュート歯であるリクライニング装置よりも、シートバック側に30kgの負荷を加えた場合、無負荷の場合いずれの場合においても、電流値が小さく、操作力が軽いことが確認できた。

Claims (2)
- 外周面には外歯が形成され、シートクッション側の部材、シートバック側の部材のうちの一方の側の部材に設けられる外歯歯車と、
該外歯歯車の外歯に噛み合い、前記外歯よりも歯数が多い内歯が刻設され、シートクッション側の部材、シートバック側の部材のうちの他方の側の部材に設けられる内歯歯車とを有し、前記外歯歯車の回転軸、前記内歯歯車の回転軸のうちの一方の回転軸が、他方の回転軸の回りを公転するリクライニング装置において、
前記外歯の前記内歯と噛み合う面、前記内歯の前記外歯と噛み合う面のうち、
どちらか一方の面は、平面であり、
他方の面は、凸面であることを特徴とするリクライニング装置。 - 前記内歯の前記外歯と噛み合う面は平面であり、
前記外歯は、インボリュート歯であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のリクライニング装置。
