Abstract
【課題】 高密度充填された電極へのプレゲル溶液の含浸性を向上させ、電極とゲル電解質との接触面積を増加させハイレート特性を改善し、充放電サイクルに伴うセル厚みの増加を抑制したリチウムイオンポリマー電池を提供する。
【解決手段】 電極活物質表面をカップリング剤により表面処理を行うことで、高密度充填された正極11および負極12のうち少なくとも負極12への、十分なポリマー濃度を有したプレゲル溶液の高い含浸性を確保し、さらに、カップリング剤を介して電極活物質とゲル電解質のポリマーを結合させることにより、電極とゲル電解質の密着性を高める。

Claims (10)
- 正極、負極、セパレータおよびゲル電解質を有するリチウムイオンポリマー電池において、前記正極および前記負極のうち、少なくとも負極の電極活物質層が表面処理剤により改質されたことを特徴とするリチウムイオンポリマー電池。
- 前記表面処理剤が、シラン系カップリング剤、アルミ系カップリング剤、チタニウム系カップリング剤から選択される少なくとも一種を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のリチウムイオンポリマー電池。
- 前記表面処理剤となるカップリング剤の有機官能基が、アクリル基、メタクリル基、エポキシ基、ビニル基から選択される少なくとも一種を含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のリチウムイオンポリマー電池。
- 前記正極の電極活物質が、リチウムイオンを吸蔵、放出し得る酸化物を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のリチウムイオンポリマー電池。
- 前記正極の電極活物質が、LiCoO2、LiNi1-xCoxO2、LiMn2O4、LiNixMn2-xO4(ここで0<x≦1)から選択される少なくとも一種を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のリチウムイオンポリマー電池。
- 前記負極の電極活物質が、リチウムを吸蔵する黒鉛、非晶質炭素、ダイヤモンド状炭素、カーボンナノチューブ、カーボンナノホーン、あるいは金属リチウムから選択される少なくとも一種を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のリチウムイオンポリマー電池。
- 前記ゲル電解質が、少なくとも1種以上のアクリレートモノマーを重合してなることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のリチウムイオンポリマー電池。
- 前記電極活物質、前記正極または前記負極から選択される少なくともひとつが、前記表面処理剤の含浸により処理されたことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載リチウムイオンポリマー電池。
- 前記電極活物質、前記正極または前記負極から選択される少なくともひとつが、前記表面処理剤の塗布により処理されたことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のリチウムイオンポリマー電池。
- 前記電極活物質が、前記電極活物質のスラリー中に表面処理剤を混合することにより形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のリチウムイオンポリマー電池。
