Abstract
【解決手段】VVTL(Variable Valve Timing and Lift)機構126は、駆動要素を動かすことによって吸気バルブ118の開弁期間を決定するアクチュエータを含む。制御装置200は、開弁期間をクランク角範囲で示す作用角を切換える際に、作用角が第1の値となったときには作用角の変化速度が第1の速度になるようにアクチュエータを制御し、作用角が第1の値よりも小さい第2の値となったときには作用角の変化速度を第2の速度になるようにアクチュエータを制御する。第2の速度の絶対値は、第1の速度の絶対値よりも小さい。すなわち小作用角領域では、大作用角領域よりも作用角をゆっくり変化させるようにアクチュエータの制御を行なう。

Description
図1を参照して、本実施の形態に係る可変動弁機構の制御装置は、図1における制御装置200が実行するプログラムにより実現される。

図8を参照して、時刻t0でエンジンが始動すると時刻t1までは、作用角をある程度大きい作用角(開弁期間がある程度長い状態)に固定する動作モードが選択される。この動作モードを大作用角モードと呼ぶことにする。
図9を参照して、横軸は図2で示した作用角であり、吸気バルブの開弁期間をクランク角度の範囲で示したものである。また縦軸は、吸気量感度つまり作用角の変化分に対する吸気量の変化分(Δ吸気量/Δ作用角)を示したものである。図9を見ればわかるように、作用角が小さい小作用角領域で吸気量感度は大となっている。
図11を参照して、作用角については、図10で説明した場合と同様であるので説明は繰返さない。
作用角が時刻t11でθ1、時刻t12でθ2、時刻t13でθ3になっている点、および作用角がθ1であるときよりもθ2であるときの方が作用角の変化速度の絶対値が小さい点は図11と図12は共通する。
Claims (5)
- 内燃機関に設けられた吸気弁の動作特性を変化させる可変動弁機構の制御装置であって、
前記可変動弁機構は、
駆動要素を動かすことによって前記吸気弁の開弁期間を決定するアクチュエータを含み、
前記制御装置は、前記開弁期間をクランク角範囲で示す作用角を切換える際に、前記作用角が第1の値となったときには前記作用角の変化速度が第1の速度になるように前記アクチュエータを制御し、前記作用角が前記第1の値よりも小さい第2の値となったときには前記作用角の変化速度を第2の速度になるように前記アクチュエータを制御し、
前記第2の速度の絶対値は、前記第1の速度の絶対値よりも小さい、可変動弁機構の制御装置。 - 前記制御装置は、前記第1の値が存する大作用角領域において前記作用角の変化速度を前記第1の速度になるように前記アクチュエータを制御し、前記第2の値が存する小作用角領域において前記作用角の変化速度を前記第2の速度になるように前記アクチュエータを制御する、請求項1に記載の可変動弁機構の制御装置。
- 前記アクチュエータは、
モータと、
モータの回転子の回転位置に応じて前記駆動要素を位置決めする位置決め機構とを含み、
前記制御装置は、前記作用角が前記第1の値となったときの前記モータの回転速度を前記作用角が前記第2の値となったときの前記モータの回転速度よりも遅く制御する、請求項1または2に記載の可変動弁機構の制御装置。 - 前記制御装置は、前記吸気弁の開弁期間に対応させてスロットル弁の開度を制御する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の可変動弁機構の制御装置。
- 内燃機関に設けられた吸気弁の動作特性を変化させ、駆動要素を動かすことによって前記吸気弁の開弁期間を決定するアクチュエータを含んだ可変動弁機構の制御装置であって、
前記制御装置は、前記開弁期間をクランク角範囲で示す作用角を切換える際に、前記作用角が第1の値となったときには前記作用角の変化速度が第1の速度になるように前記アクチュエータを制御し、前記作用角が前記第1の値よりも小さい第2の値となったときには前記作用角の変化速度を第2の速度になるように前記アクチュエータを制御し、
前記第2の速度の絶対値は、前記第1の速度の絶対値よりも小さい、可変動弁機構の制御装置。
