Abstract
【解決手段】内輪部材が転動体配置部より外側に向かって径大化する部分を備えた軸受装置における内輪部材の上記径大化する部位と外輪部材との間に装着される密封装置であって、内輪部材1の上記径大化する部位に転動体配置部50側から外嵌されるスリンガ10と、該スリンガ10に弾性摺接するよう外輪部材4に内嵌されるシールリップ部材11とよりなり、上記スリンガ10は、内輪部材1に外嵌される円筒部10aと、この円筒部10aの転動体配置部50側端部より径方向外向きに連成された鍔部10bとよりなり、この鍔部10bの転動体配置部50側の面10baが、上記シールリップ部材11の弾性摺接面であって且つ内輪部材1にスリンガを外嵌させる際の押圧作用面とされていることを特徴とする。

Claims (4)
- 回転側の内輪部材と、固定側の外輪部材との間の軌道面間に転動体を介在させて、内輪部材を外輪部材に対して回転可能に支持し、内輪部材が転動体配置部より外側に向かって径大化する部位を備えた転がり軸受装置において、内輪部材の上記径大化する部位と外輪部材との間に装着される密封装置であって、
内輪部材の上記径大化する部位に転動体配置部側から外嵌されるスリンガと、該スリンガに弾性摺接するよう外輪部材に内嵌されるシールリップ部材とよりなり、上記スリンガは、内輪部材に外嵌される円筒部と、この円筒部の転動体配置部側端部より径方向外向きに連成された鍔部とよりなり、この鍔部の転動体配置部側の面が、上記シールリップ部材の弾性摺接面であって且つ内輪部材にスリンガを外嵌させる際の押圧作用面とされていることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 請求項1に記載の密封装置において、
前記軸受装置が、駆動輪用のハブベアリングであって、前記内輪部材における径大化する部位が、ハブ輪からハブフランジに向かう部位であることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 請求項1に記載の密封装置において、
前記軸受装置が、等速自在継手と組み合った駆動輪用のハブベアリングであって、前記内輪部材における径大化する部位が、ハブ輪からハブフランジに向かう部位及び/若しくは等速自在継手における外輪マウス部の基部であることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の密封装置において、
前記鍔部の反転動体配置部側の面には、磁気エンコーダを構成する環状多極磁石が固着一体とされていることを特徴とする密封装置。
