Abstract
【解決手段】

Description

Claims (13)
- 通信リンクのリンク品質を繰り返し測定する品質測定ユニット、及び
測定されたリンク品質の変化を決定する差分分析器、
を具備する遠隔局装置。 - 請求項1の遠隔局、ここで、リンク品質は受信信号のキャリア対干渉として測定される。
- 請求項2の遠隔局、ここで、品質測定ユニットは品質メトリックを生成する、及びここで、遠隔局はセクタカバーを品質メトリックに適用する。
- ワイアレス通信システムにおいて、
第1の周波数において品質メッセージを生成し、品質メッセージが通信リンクの品質に関する情報を与える、及び
第2の周波数において差分インディケータを生成し、差分インディケータが通信リンクの品質の変化を指示する、ここで、第2の周波数は第1の周波数より大きい、
を具備する方法。 - 請求項4の方法、ここで、各品質メッセージは受信機における受信信号のキャリア対干渉情報を含む。
- 請求項5の方法、ここで、受信信号はパイロット信号である。
- 請求項4の方法、ここで、各差分インディケータは少なくとも1ビットである。
- 請求項4の方法、ここで、差分インディケータを生成することは、
現在のリンク品質測定を予想したリンク品質測定と比較する、

差分インディケータを送信する、
をさらに具備する。 - 音声通信及びパケットスイッチされた通信を処理するワイアレス通信システムにおける、
逆方向リンクにおける信号を受信する働きをする受信回路、品質メッセージ及び差分インディケータを含み、品質メッセージは順方向リンクの品質メトリックを定期的に与える、ここで、差分インディケータは連続する品質メッセージ間の品質メトリックを追跡する、
逆方向リンクにおいて受信された品質メッセージを記憶する働きをするメモリ記憶ユニット、及び
差分インディケータに応じてメモリ記憶ユニット中に記憶された品質メッセージをアップデートするための差分分析器、
を具備する基地局。 - メモリ記憶ユニット中に記憶された品質メッセージに応じてシステム中のパケットスイッチされた通信を予定する働きをするスケジューラユニット、
をさらに具備する請求項9の基地局。 - 請求項10の基地局、ここで、品質メトリックはデータレート制御メッセージである。
- 請求項11の基地局、ここで、
各データレート制御メッセージはデータレート制御テーブル中の1つの記載事項に対応する、
各差分インディケータはデータレート制御テーブル中の隣接する記載事項を指す。 - 音声通信及びパケットスイッチされた通信を処理するワイアレス通信システムにおける、
データレート制御メッセージ及び関連した送信情報を表にするデータレート制御テーブル、
データレート制御テーブルに接続されたデータレート計算ユニット、データレート計算ユニットはトランシーバにおいて受信された信号に応じてデータレート制御メッセージを選択する働きをする、及び
データレート制御テーブル中の次の記載事項を指す差分インディケータを生成する働きをするデータレート計算ユニットに接続された差分分析器、
を具備するトランシーバ。
