Claims (10)
- 第1排気駆動式過給機(1)と第2排気駆動式過給機(2)とを備え、前記第1排気駆動式過給機(1)が第1軸(3)上に軸流式の第1排気ガスタービン(5)と第1圧縮機インペラ(7)とを有し、前記第2排気駆動式過給機(2)が第2軸(4)上に軸流式の第2排気ガスタービン(6)と第2圧縮機インペラ(8)とを有している過給装置において、第1軸(3)と第2軸(4)が同軸的に支持されていることを特徴とする過給装置。
- 過給装置において外側に配置された第1排気ガスタービン(5)が最初に、続いて、第2排気ガスタービン(6)が排気ガスで貫流されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の過給装置。
- 第1排気駆動式過給機(1)および/又は第2排気駆動式過給機(2)に、駆動装置(9)および/又は出力装置(10)が装備されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の過給装置。
- 第2排気駆動式過給機(2)の第2軸(4)が中空軸として形成され、第1軸(3)の周りに回転可能に支持されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1つに記載の過給装置。
- 一方の排気駆動式過給機(1、2)が高圧排気駆動式過給機として形成され、他方の排気駆動式過給機(1、2)が低圧排気駆動式過給機として形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1つに記載の過給装置。
- 第1排気ガスタービン(5)と第2排気ガスタービン(6)との間に、両排気ガスタービン(5、6)間で空気を案内するための案内グリル(11)が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれか1つに記載の過給装置。
- 案内グリル(11)の幾何学形状が回転数に関係して調整できることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の過給装置。
- 低圧排気駆動式過給機の圧縮機インペラ(7、8)の下流にインタクーラ(12)が、および/又は、高圧排気駆動式過給機の圧縮機インペラ(7、8)の下流にインタクーラ(13)が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれか1つに記載の過給装置。
- 低圧排気駆動式過給機の排気ガスタービン(5、6)の直径が、高圧排気駆動式過給機の排気ガスタービン(5、6)の直径より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいずれか1つに記載の過給装置。
- 過給装置に消音器(14)が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし9のいずれか1つに記載の過給装置。
