Description
特許文献3は、コンプレッサ特性線図を広げるために、特性線図安定化手段(CDSM)と説明されるものを有し、コンプレッサ特性線図のポンプリミットをより低い質量流に向かってシフトする、内燃機関のコンプレッサを開示している。CDSMは、コンプレッサ吸気通路内に循環室を提供することによって実現され、その循環室は、コンプレッサ吸気通路に対して同軸上に延びるが、円筒状リングによってコンプレッサ吸気通路から分離されており、循環室は、その両端部側の領域でコンプレッサ吸気通路と連通している。コンプレッサインペラのロータ入口面を越えて軸方向に延びる循環室は、主流の方向に反してコンプレッサインペラに送られていた部分質量流を戻し、次にそれをコンプレッサ吸気通路内の主流に再導入させる機能を有する。このことによりポンプリミットの前記シフトをもたらす環状流が生成される。環状流を形成できるようにするために、円筒状リングは、軸方向を比較的短くし、その2つの端部側の領域に比較的大きな流量開口部を有する。
拡大緩衝容積を造るために、循環室は、内燃機関の様々なガス収容構成要素、例えばクランクケース、エアフィルタ又は排気ガス再循環に接続できる。いずれにしても、循環室の容積を増加することがこの追加接続の目的である。この追加緩衝容積は、サージ圧力の影響を緩和する。
Claims (7)
- コンプレッサ吸気通路(18)内に回動可能に取り付けられ、それにより、供給される燃焼のための空気を高ブースト圧まで圧縮できるコンプレッサインペラ(19)と、前記コンプレッサ吸気通路(18)とは独立に形成され、前記コンプレッサ吸気通路(18)内に開口する追加通路(11)とを備える、吸気セクション内のコンプレッサと、排気ガスの調節可能な質量流を排気セクション(4)から前記吸気セクション(6)まで送る再循環ライン(29)を有する排気ガス再循環装置(10)と、を有する内燃機関において、
前記供給される燃焼のための空気は、コンプレッサ吸気通路内に開口する管路15を経由してコンプレッサ5へ送られ、
前記排気セクション(4)からの前記排気ガスは、前記再循環ライン(29)を経由して、前記コンプレッサ(5)内の前記追加通路(11)に送られ、前記質量流は、コンプレッサ吸気通路内のコンプレッサインペラ(19)に衝突することによりそのコンプレッサインペラ(19)に駆動力を与えるものであり、
再循環弁(28)が、前記排気ガス再循環ライン(29)の入口内に配置されることを特徴とする内燃機関。 - 渦流装置(14、21)が、前記追加通路(11)が前記コンプレッサ吸気通路(18)内に開口している領域(17)に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記渦流装置(14、21)が、調節可能な構造のものであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記渦流装置が、前記開口領域(17)内に渦流格子(14)と、開位置と閉位置との間で調節でき、前記閉位置において前記開口領域(17)に押し込まれる軸方向スライド(21)と、を具備することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記閉位置において前記渦流格子(14)を収容する受け入れ開口部(23)が、前記軸方向スライド(21)の端部側に形成されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の内燃機関。
- 調節可能な遮断部材(13)が、前記コンプレッサインペラ(19)の上流の前記コンプレッサ吸気通路(18)内に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記コンプレッサ(5)は、排気ガスターボ過給機(2)の一部であり、排気ガスターボ過給機の排気ガスタービン(3)は、アクティブタービン入口断面を可変設定するために可変タービン構造(8)を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
