Abstract
【解決手段】レンズ100は、LEDパッケージベース10上の光源であるLED20から発散される光を均一に分布させることができるように、上記光源と向かい合う反対側の外側面が凸面110に形成され、上記凸面の中間部では光軸Aを中心線にして内側に凹んだ形状の凹面120が形成されるレンズであって、上記凹面中光軸Aが通る地点に外側に膨らんだ凸部130が形成され、光軸Aの周辺の光量を増大させるように構成される。このレンズは、各部に入射される光を互いに異なる角度に屈折させることにより一定の発光範囲内に均一な光量を分布させることが可能で、光軸の周辺に暗部を発生させないという長所がある。

Claims (8)
- 光源から発散される光を均一に分布させることができるよう、前記光源と向かい合う反対側の外側面が凸面に形成され、前記凸面の中間部では光軸Aを中心線にして内側に凹んだ形状の凹面が形成されるレンズであって、
前記凹面中光軸Aが通る地点に外側に膨らんだ凸部が形成され、光軸Aの周辺の光量を増大させるように構成されることを特徴とするレンズ。 - 前記凸部は球面状に形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記凸部の径は前記凹面の径の10〜50%であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のレンズ。
- 前記凸部の径は前記レンズの全体径の2〜20%であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか一項に記載のレンズ。
- 前記凸部は焦点距離が曲率半径の50〜500%であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一項に記載のレンズ。
- 前記凸部と前記凹面の間に境界線が形成されないよう、前記凸部は前記凹面と連結される周縁部が凹んだ方向に曲率半径を有するように形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか一項に記載のレンズ。
- 光源の役目をするLEDが安着されるLEDパッケージベースと、
請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか一項による構造で構成され、前記LEDを覆うように前記LEDパッケージベースに結合されるレンズと、
を含んで構成されることを特徴とする、発光装置。 - 前記レンズは、前記LEDと対応する面が平面状に形成されることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の発光装置。
