Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の発光装置は、発光素子として青色発光タイプのLEDチップ2を有する。このLEDチップ2は、主波長が異なる2種類の黄色系蛍光体と赤色蛍光体との計3種類の蛍光体を透明樹脂に混合・分散させた蛍光体層9(蛍光体含有樹脂層9)により覆われている。2種類の黄色系蛍光体は、540±20nmの主波長を有する第1の蛍光体と、この第1の蛍光体より主波長が大きくかつ590nm以下の主波長を有する第2の蛍光体とすることができる。赤色蛍光体の配合を調整することにより、発光効率の低下をできるだけ抑制し、Ra80以上の高演色性と高い発光効率を同時に実現する。

Claims (4)
- 青色光を放射する発光素子と;
前記発光素子から放射された青色光により励起されて黄色光から橙色光間の光を主波長として発光する2種類の黄色系蛍光体と、前記発光素子から放射された青色光により励起されて赤色光を発光する赤色蛍光体をそれぞれ含有する蛍光体層と;
を具備することを特徴とする発光装置。 - 前記2種類の黄色系蛍光体が、540±20nmの主波長を有する第1の黄色系蛍光体と、前記第1の黄色系蛍光体の主波長より大きくかつ590nm以下の主波長を有する第2の黄色系蛍光体をそれぞれ有しており、平均演色評価数Raが80〜93であり高い発光効率を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の発光装置。
- 複数の発光素子と;
白色の絶縁材により前記各発光素子を間隔的に並べて配設し得る大きさに形成された反射層と;
反射層に形成されて前記発光素子に電気的に接続された回路パターンと;
回路パターンの近傍で前記複数の発光素子を前記反射層の同一面上に接着する透光性接着層と;
第1の黄色系蛍光体、第1の黄色系蛍光体の主波長より大きくかつ590nm以下の主波長を有する第2の黄色系蛍光体および赤色光を発光する赤色蛍光体を含んでなり、前記反射層上に配設された蛍光体層と;
を具備することを特徴とする発光装置。 - 前記蛍光体層は、第1の黄色系蛍光体、第2の黄色系蛍光体、赤色蛍光体および透明樹脂を有してなり、前記各蛍光体の平均粒径(D50)は15μm以上30μm以下であり、前記透明樹脂の硬化前の粘度は1Pa・s以上3Pa・s以下であることを特徴とする請求項3記載の発光装置。
