Abstract
Description
本発明の種々の実施形態の場合には、チャネル品質の報告メッセージは、複数の予め定められたフォーマットのうちの1つとすることができる。例えば、
・チャネル品質の報告メッセージは、1つのチャネル品質の値を含むことができる。
・チャネル品質の報告メッセージは、複数のチャネル品質の値を含むことができる。各チャネル品質の値は、異なる周波数領域サポートに関連することができる。
・チャネル品質の報告メッセージは、移動速度インジケータ、または空間チャネル品質のインジケータのような、送信機が送信をスケジューリングすることを円滑にするための追加情報を含むことができる。
・チャネル品質の報告メッセージは、受信機におけるキュー状態の状況を含むことができる。
・チャネル品質の要求メッセージに応答して、複数の(例えば、2つの)チャネル品質の報告メッセージを送信すること。
・チャネル品質の要求メッセージに応答して、送信が打ち切られるまで、チャネル品質の報告メッセージを送信すること。
チャネル品質の要求メッセージは、当業者であれば周知の方法により送信可能である。本発明の好ましい実施形態の場合には、メッセージは図2に示すフォーマットを有し、39の情報ビットを含む。さらに、R=0.81は、256状態のコンボルーション符号により48の符号ビットに符号化され、24QPSK記号に変調され、2.5ミリ秒フレーム持続時間でOFDMシステム内のサブキャリアにより送信される。他の実施形態の場合には、この方法は、当業者であれば周知のように、異なる符号化を使用することもできるし、符号化を使用しないこともできるし、異なる変調を使用することもできるし、CDMA、TDMA、または他のシステムで送信することもできる。チャネル品質の要求メッセージ内の39の情報ビットは下記の通りである。
タイミング・アドバンス − 受信機がタイミング・アドバンスの更新手順を開始すべきであることを表示する。タイミング・アドバンスの手順は、当業者であれば周知の任意の手順であってもよい。例えば、受信機は、タイミング・アドバンスのバーストを送信し、次に、恐らくマイクロ秒単位のタイミング・アドバンスの4ビット値で、送信機からタイミング・アドバンスの更新を受信することができる。
タイムアウト − チャネル品質の要求の後で、送信すべきチャネル品質の報告メッセージの最大数を表示する(通常は、成功した最後のパケット転送から測定して2,4,8,または16である)。
CRC − メッセージのインテグリティを確保するために使用される巡回冗長検査に用いられる、「ユーザID」におけるビットの数を追加する(ユーザIDに続く)。
第1の実施形態の場合には、基地局は、遠隔局に、ダウンリンク・パケット供給に成功するまで、チャネル品質の報告の送信を継続するように指示するために、持続性フィールドを送信する。基地局は、遠隔局から肯定応答を受信することにより供給が成功したことを認識する。第2の実施形態の場合には、持続性フィールドは、遠隔局に、基地局の関連遠隔ユニット特定キューが空になるまで、チャネル品質の報告の送信を継続するように指示する。遠隔局は、データ送信またはデータ送信に関連する制御データを含む最後のパケット表示を受信することにより、キューが空であることを認識する。最後のパケットの受信が成功し、肯定応答がなされると(例えば、肯定応答が送信されるか、あるいは否定応答が送信されない)、遠隔局は、基地局の関連遠隔局特定キューは空であるとみなす。
Claims (7)
- 方法であって、
遠隔局に送信されるべきデータがキューイングされているか否かを判断するステップと、
前記データがキューイングされているか否かに基づいて、前記遠隔局にチャネル品質の要求メッセージを送信して、前記遠隔局が、検知されたチャネル品質を示すチャネル品質の報告を送信するようにするステップと、
を備える方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、さらに、
前記チャネル品質の報告を受信するステップと、
前記チャネル品質の報告に基づいて、変調および符号化方式を決定するステップと、
を備える方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、さらに、
前記遠隔局にキュー状況を送信して、前記遠隔局が、チャネル品質の報告を引き続き送信するようにするステップ、
を備える方法。 - 請求項3に記載の方法において、前記キュー状況が、前記遠隔局に送信されるべきデータがもはやないことを示すまで、前記遠隔局は、チャネル品質の報告を引き続き送信する、方法。
- 請求項3に記載の方法において、前記キュー状況を送信するステップは、前記遠隔局に最後のパケット・インジケータを送信するステップを含む、方法。
- 装置であって、
複数のデータ・キューと、
前記複数のデータ・キュー内にキューイングされたデータを有する遠隔ユニットを判断する論理回路と、
前記遠隔ユニットに対するデータがキューイングされていることを判断する前記論理回路に応答して、遠隔局にチャネル品質の要求メッセージを送信する送信機と、
を備え、前記チャネル品質の要求メッセージにより、前記遠隔局は、検知されたチャネル品質を示すチャネル品質の報告を送信する、装置。 - 請求項6に記載の装置であって、さらに、
前記チャネル品質の報告を受信する受信機と、
前記チャネル品質の報告に基づいた変調および符号化方式を使用する適応変調回路と、
を備える装置。
