Claims (11)
- メチルエチルヒドロキシエチルセルロースエーテルにおいて、該セルロースエーテルが70〜95℃の凝集温度、0.1〜0.8のメチル置換度、及び0.1〜0.7のエチル置換度を有することを特徴とするセルロースエーテル。
- 1.5〜2.8のヒドロキシエチル分子置換を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のセルロースエーテル。
- 0.2〜0.6のメチル置換度、0.2〜0.6のエチル置換度及び1.7〜2.5のヒドロキシエチル分子置換を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のセルロースエーテル。
- 78〜85℃の凝集温度を有することを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のセルロースエーテル。
- ヒドロキシプロピル及び4〜22の炭素原子の炭化水素基を含む置換基からなる群から選択された置換基をもまた含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のセルロースエーテル。
- セルロースが、1又は複数の工程において、糖類単位1モル当たり0.8〜1.8モルの合計量の水性アルカリでマーセライズ加工され;そして糖類単位1モル当たり2.6〜5.5モルの合計量のエチレンオキシド、糖類単位1モル当たり0.2〜1.5モルの合計量の塩化メチル、及び糖類単位1モル当たり0.2〜1.5モルの合計量の塩化エチルが、有機反応媒体の存在下で、50〜120℃の温度において1又は複数の工程において、マーセライズ加工されたセルロースに添加され、そして反応されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のメチルエチルヒドロキシエチルセルロースエーテルを製造する方法。
- 反応媒体が塩化エチルであることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の方法。
- セルロースがアルカリの合計量の一部で最初にマーセライズ加工され;エチレンオキシドの合計量の一部、塩化メチルの合計量の一部、及びもし塩化エチルが反応媒体中に存在しなければ塩化エチルの合計量の一部が、50〜120℃の温度において1又は複数の段階において、上記最初にマーセライズ加工されたセルロースに添加され、そして反応され、その上で部分的に置換されたマーセライズ加工されたセルロースはアルカリの残りの部分でさらにマーセライズ加工され;そしてエチレンオキシドの残りの部分、及び塩化メチルの残りの部分及び、もし塩化エチルが反応媒体として存在しなければ、塩化エチルのあり得る残りの部分が、1又は複数の段階において50〜120℃の温度において、上記さらにマーセライズ加工されたセルロースに添加され、そして反応されることを特徴とする、請求項6又は7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 0.1〜2.5重量%の、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のセルロースエーテルを含む水性配合物。
- 配合物がラテックスバインダーを含む水性ペイント組成物であることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の水性配合物。
- 増粘剤又はレオロジー改質剤として、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のメチルエチルヒドロキシエチルセルロースを水相において使用する方法。
