DはFe、Ce、Cr、Sn、Zn、PdまたはRhであり、
Eは有機酸または窒素を含む化合物(N-containing compound)であり、
aは5乃至12、bは0.01乃至5、cは0.01乃至3、dは0.01乃至3、 eは0乃至0.3、fは0乃至10であり、gはa、b、c、d、e及びfの原子価条件を満たす数である。)
(A) (NH4)6Mo7O24、(NH4)VO4、及びH3POと、場合によってピリジンを入れて水溶液を製造する工程;
(B) 上記(A)工程の生成物に硝酸を加えてアンモニウムの形態を有するヘテロポリ酸を製造する工程;
(C) 上記(B)工程の生成物に遷移金属の炭酸塩を混合して入れる工程;及び
(D) (C)工程から収得された触媒含有溶液を空気雰囲気下で乾燥及び焼成する工程
とを含めてなることを特徴とする。
(NH4)6Mo7O24と(NH4)VO4、及びH3POと、場合によってピリジンを入れ水溶液を作る工程であって、蒸留水にパラモリブデン酸アンモニウム(ammonium paramolybdate; ((NH4)6Mo7O24))とメタバナジン酸アンモニウム(ammonium metavanadate;((NH4)VO4))を溶かした後、ここにH3PO4を攪拌しながら注入し、選択的にピリジン(pyridine)を共に添加し攪拌して水溶液を製造する。
硝酸を用いてアンモニウムの形態を有するヘテロポリ酸を製造する工程であって、上記(A)の工程で作られた水溶液にHNO3を混合し徐々に滴加しスラリー(slurry)を生産した後に、これを攪拌することによってアンモニウムの形態を有するヘテロポリ酸を製造する。
上記(B)の工程で作られたアンモニウムの形態を有するヘテロポリ酸に遷移金属の炭酸塩及び/または硝酸塩を混合して入れる工程であって、20乃至60℃でCu(OH)2・CuCO3, Cs2CO3また選択的にFe(NO3)3を入れ温度を70℃程度に昇温して反応させることによって触媒の分散性と活性を高めることができる。
上記(C)工程で作られた触媒含有溶液を空気雰囲気下で乾燥及び焼成する工程で、ロータリー蒸発器(rotary evaporator)で過量の水を除去しオーブン(oven)で乾燥した後に、ガラス繊維(Glass fiber)を入れ、5mm×5mmの形態のペレット(pellet)に製造した後焼成及び粉砕過程を通じて150〜250μmの大きさの触媒が得られる。
80℃に保持されている蒸留水440mlにパラモリブデン酸アンモニウム(ammonium paramolybdate; ((NH4)6Mo7O24))100gとメタバナジン酸アンモニウム(ammonium metavanadate; ((NH4)VO4))3.0gを溶かした。また、ここにピリジン(pyridine)23gと85%H3PO46.4gを攪拌しながら注入した。
他の条件は実施例1と全て同一であり、更に使用した前駆体のみCu(OH)2・CuCO31.7g(7.7mmol)とCs2CO312.55g(38.5mmol)以外にFe(NO3)31.04gを入れ触媒を除去した。
実施例2と同一の状態でピリジン(pyridine)が含まれず、残りの全過程を同一に実施した。製造した触媒のSEMの結果を図2に示した。
他の全ての条件は実施例1と同一であり、使用した前駆体のみCu(OH)2・CuCO31.7g(7.7mmol)とCs2CO312.55g(38.5mmol)からCu(NO3)23.6g(15.4mmol)とCsNO315.0g(77mmol)とに変えて使用した。製造した触媒のSEMの結果を図3に示した。
比較例1において遷移金属の前駆体を入れることと硝酸を滴加することとの順序を変えた場合であって、即ち共沈した触媒の例である。米国特許登録番号第6、458、740B2号と同一の方法である。製造した触媒のSEMの結果を図4に示した。
実際の商業工程に適用している商業触媒の性能を評価し、表面のSEMの結果を図5に示した。

選択度(%)=[形成したメタクリル酸のmol数/反応したメタクロレインのmol数]× 100
収率(%)=[形成したメタクリル酸のmol数/供給したメタクロレインのmol数]× 100=転換率× 選択度
Claims (7)
- 上記へテロポリ酸系触媒が
PMo12V0.3~2Cs1~2Cu0.1~0.5Fe0.01~0.1Ox
(ここで、xは原子価条件を満たす数である)
であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のヘテロポリ酸系触媒。 - 請求項1記載のヘテロポリ酸系触媒の製造方法であって、
(A) (NH4)6Mo7O24、(NH4)VO4、及びH3POと、場合によってピリジンを入れて水溶液を製造する工程;
(B) 上記(A)工程の生成物に硝酸を加えてアンモニウムイオンを含むヘテロポリ酸を製造する工程;
(C) 上記(B)工程の生成物に遷移金属の炭酸塩を混合して入れる工程;及び
(D) (C)工程から収得された触媒含有溶液を空気雰囲気下で乾燥及び焼成する工程;
とを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のヘテロポリ酸系触媒の製造方法。 - 上記(C)工程において、遷移金属の硝酸塩をさらに添加することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のヘテロポリ酸系触媒の製造方法。
- 上記(C)工程の遷移金属の炭酸塩を20〜60℃の範囲で添加することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のヘテロポリ酸系触媒の製造方法。
- 上記(C)工程の遷移金属の炭酸塩及び硝酸塩を20〜60℃の範囲で添加することを特徴とする請求項4に記載のヘテロポリ酸系触媒の製造方法。
- 上記触媒の表面に生成された粒子の大きさが20〜100nmであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のヘテロポリ酸系触媒の製造方法。
