Abstract
Description
本発明は、通常動脈瘤である、ターゲットとなる塞栓部位に配置された脈管閉塞装置の位置、及びいくつかの場合では構造を安定させる装置及び方法に関する。ここに開示されている保持装置と首部ブリッジの使用は、動脈瘤の入口ゾーン、すなわち、動脈瘤が供給血管と出会う位置に、少なくとも部分的にバリアを形成することによって、脈管閉塞装置(例えば螺旋状に巻回されたコイル)がターゲットとなる塞栓部位から潜在的に移動することを軽減する。
Claims (28)
- 動脈瘤の首部にブリッジをかける装置において:
交差領域と;
前記交差領域に固着された一又はそれ以上の半径方向に伸びるアレイエレメントであって、各アレイエレメントが展開形状と送出形状を有するアレイエレメントと;
前記交差領域、一のアレイエレメント、あるいはその双方に取り付けたカバーと;を具え、
前記カバーが前記アレイエレメントの一つの送出形状を超えて延在することを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記交差領域が筒状の部分を具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1または2に記載の装置において、各アレイエレメントが曲線形状を有するワイヤを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1または2に記載の装置において、各アレイエレメントがワイヤループを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項4に記載の装置において、各アレイエレメントが前記交差領域に取り付けられている第1及び第2の端部を有することを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の装置が、更に先端を具え、前記アレイエレメントが当該先端に取り付けられている第1の端部と、前記交差領域に取り付けられている第2の端部を具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項6に記載の装置において、前記先端がそれを通って脈管閉塞装置あるいは閉塞液を送出することができる開口を具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載の装置が、更に一のアレイエレメントに担持させた放射線不透過性マーカを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項8に記載の装置において、前記放射線不透過性マーカが前記装置の周辺に担持されていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1ないし9のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記アレイエレメントの各々が、弾力のある、実質的な弾性材を具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1ないし10のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記カバーが複数のループを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1ないし11のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記カバーが弾性材でできていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1ないし12のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記カバーがポリマを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1ないし12のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記カバーがポリエステルを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項11に記載の装置において、各ループが前記交差領域に取り付けられている第1及び第2の端部を有するファイバを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1ないし15のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記カバーが接着剤で前記アレイエレメントに取り付けられていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1ないし16のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記アレイエレメントが前記カバーと編み合わされていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1ないし17のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記カバーが上側と底側を有し、前記アレイエレメントが前記カバーの上側と底側の間に位置していることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項18に記載の装置が、更に前記カバーの上側と底側の間に位置するディスクを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記カバーが一又はそれ以上のアレイエレメントにのみ取り付けられていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記カバーが前記交差領域にのみ取り付けられていることを特徴とする装置。
- 動脈瘤の首部にブリッジをかける装置において:
交差領域と;
前記交差領域に固着された半径方向に伸びる編構造であって、弾性材料でできており、送出形状と展開形状を有し、動脈瘤内に配置するような形状に形成されている編構造と;
を具えることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項22に記載の装置において、前記編構造が複数のループを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項23に記載の装置において、各ループが前記交差領域に取り付けられた第1及び第2の端部を有するファイバを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項24に記載の装置において、前記交差領域が第1の部分と第2の部分を具え、各ループの第1の端部が前記第1の部分に、第2の端部が前記第2の部分に取り付けられていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項22ないし25のいずれかに記載の装置が、更に前記編構造に担持されている放射線不透過性マーカを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項22ないし25のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記編構造が放射線不透過性材料でめっき、あるいは被覆されていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項22ないし25のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記編構造が放射線不透過性材料を具えることを特徴とする装置。
