Abstract
【解決手段】電源が投入された際、コントローラ5の動作が開始され、コントローラ5内の同期信号検出手段11により同期信号が検出され、液晶駆動制御手段12により駆動信号が出力される。制御安定検出手段13は、同期信号検出手段11からの検出信号と液晶駆動制御手段12からの駆動信号とから駆動制御の安定状態を検出する。一方、図示しないユーザ回路からユーザBL信号がオン出力される。論理積手段14は、制御安定検出手段13からの検出信号とユーザBL信号との論理積からバックライトBLをオンにするBL信号をバックライト制御手段LDに出力する。バックライト制御手段LDは、BL信号に応じてバックライトBLの点灯制御を行う。

Claims (3)
- 入力映像信号に応じて液晶表示パネルに映像を表示する液晶表示装置であって、前記液晶表示パネルを駆動制御する液晶駆動制御手段と、前記液晶表示パネルを表示裏面側から照明するバックライトと、このバックライトの点灯を制御するバックライト制御手段とを備え、外部からの前記バックライトの点灯、非点灯を指示する指示信号と、前記液晶駆動制御手段の駆動制御が安定状態にあることを検出する検出信号とに応じて前記バックライトの点灯を制御することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
- 前記バックライト制御手段は、前記指示信号と前記検出信号との論理積により前記バックライトの点灯を制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 入力映像信号に応じて液晶表示パネルに映像を表示する液晶表示装置であって、入力される同期信号の有無を検出する同期信号検出手段と、前記入力される同期信号に基づいて前記液晶表示パネルの駆動を制御する液晶駆動制御手段と、前記同期信号検出手段からの検出信号と前記液晶駆動制御手段からの駆動信号とから前記液晶駆動制御手段の駆動制御が安定状態であることを検出する制御安定検出手段とを備え、この制御安定検出手段からの検出信号に応じて前記バックライトの点灯を制御することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
