Abstract

Claims (10)
- 金属の構成要素を製造する方法であって、
金属粉末及びバインダの混合物を準備する段階と、
前記バインダを溶融させて前記混合物を構成要素の形状をしたプリフォーム(48)に成形する段階と、
前記バインダの大部分を前記プリフォーム(48)から除去する段階と、
前記プリフォーム(48)をマイクロ波エネルギーで加熱して、前記バインダの残部分を除去し且つ前記金属粉末を互いに焼結して構成要素を形成する段階と、
を含む方法。 - 前記加熱する段階の後に、前記構成要素に対して熱間等静圧圧縮成形処理を行う段階をさらに含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記混合物をプリフォーム(48)に成形する段階が、該混合物を所望の形状を有する型枠内に射出する段階を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記混合物をプリフォーム(48)に成形する段階が、該混合物を所望の断面形状を有する金型(144、244)を通して押し出す段階を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記大部分のバインダが、該バインダを分解するが前記金属粉末を溶解しないように選択された溶媒で前記プリフォーム(48)を洗浄することによって除去される、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記加熱する段階の間、調整された組成の雰囲気を備えるチャンバ(56)内に前記プリフォーム(48)が配置される、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記加熱する段階の間、前記プリフォーム(48)が真空下に保持される、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記プリフォーム(48)が、前記金型(144、244)から前記バインダを溶脱するための溶媒槽(152)を介し、次に前記マイクロ波加熱を実施するチャンバ(156)に順次に移送される、請求項4乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記金型(144、244)が、シート様プリフォームを製造するようになった細長い断面形状を有する、請求項4乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記構成要素の隣接する層間に離型剤を配置した状態で該構成要素の全長をスピンドル(264)上に巻き取る段階と、
前記スピンドル(264)をチャンバ内に配置する段階と、
前記構成要素に対して熱間等静圧圧縮成形処理を行う段階と、
をさらに含む、請求項4乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
