Abstract
【解決手段】 ノズル8が形成されたノズルプレート30のインク吐出面70aに光硬化性樹脂シート175を、上面31に搬送フィルムを貼り付けて積層体179を形成する。次に、真空加圧装置190内に積層体179を配置して密閉空間198を形成する。そして、密閉空間198を大気圧よりも減圧した状態で、光硬化性樹脂シート175をノズルプレート30に対して押圧し、ノズル8内に光硬化性樹脂シート175の一部を充填する。次に、ノズル8を介して光硬化性樹脂シート175に光を照射してノズル出口近傍に柱状硬化部を形成する。次に、光硬化性樹脂シート175の未硬化部分を除去して、インク吐出面70aを露出させる。そして、インク吐出面70aに撥水膜を形成する。

Claims (7)
- 液体を吐出するノズル孔の一方の開口端が形成されたノズルプレートのインク吐出面上に、少なくとも前記一方の開口端が塞がれるように光硬化性樹脂シートを積層する積層工程と、
前記積層工程後に、前記ノズルプレートの周辺空間が大気圧より減圧された状態において前記光硬化性樹脂シートを前記ノズルプレートに対して押圧することによって、前記光硬化性樹脂シートの一部を前記ノズル孔内に充填する充填工程と、
前記充填工程後に、前記ノズルプレートにおいて前記インク吐出面とは反対側の面から前記ノズル孔を介して前記光硬化性樹脂シートに光を照射することによって、前記光硬化性樹脂シートを部分的に硬化させる硬化工程と、
前記光硬化性樹脂シートの硬化部が前記ノズル孔に保持された状態で残存し且つ前記インク吐出面が露出するように前記光硬化性樹脂シートの未硬化部を除去する除去工程と、
前記除去工程後に、露出した前記インク吐出面上に撥水膜を形成する撥水膜形成工程とを備えていることを特徴とするノズルプレートの処理方法。 - 前記積層工程において、前記光硬化性樹脂シート及び前記ノズルプレートを、互いが重なり合うようにしつつ2つのローラの間へと順次進入させて一体化することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のノズルプレートの処理方法。
- 前記積層工程において、前記光硬化性樹脂シートとの間に前記ノズルプレートを挟み込む搬送フィルムとともに、前記光硬化性樹脂シート及び前記ノズルプレートを前記2つのローラの間へと順次進入させることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のノズルプレートの処理方法。
- 前記積層工程において、前記2つのローラにより狭持される前記ノズルプレートのニップ長さが、前記ノズルプレートの長手方向の最大長さよりも短いことを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載のノズルプレートの処理方法。
- 前記充填工程において、前記光硬化性樹脂シート及び前記ノズルプレートを2枚の平板で挟み込みつつ、前記平板に押圧力を加えて前記光硬化性樹脂シートの一部を前記ノズル孔内に充填することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のノズルプレートの処理方法。
- 前記充填工程において、前記光硬化性樹脂シート及び前記ノズルプレートの温度を20℃以上30℃以下とすることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のノズルプレートの処理方法。
- 前記充填工程において、一方の前記平板と前記ノズルプレートとの間に樹脂シートを配置することを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のノズルプレートの処理方法。
