Abstract
【解決手段】 内周に複列の軌道面が形成された外輪105と、外周に複列の軌道面のうちの一方の軌道面が形成されたハブ輪101と、そのハブ輪101の小径段部112に圧入され、外周に他方の軌道面が形成された内輪102と、外輪105とハブ輪101および内輪102の軌道面間に介装された複列の転動体103,104とを備え、ハブ輪101の小径段部112の端部を加締めることによりハブ輪101と内輪102を一体化し、ハブ輪101の内径にトルク伝達手段を介して等速自在継手106の継手外輪115を嵌合させ、ハブ輪101の加締部111と継手外輪115の肩部116を突き合わせた車輪用軸受装置において、ハブ輪101における未焼入れ状態の加締部111と継手外輪115における未焼入れ状態の肩部116との突合せ面111a,116aに低摩擦コーティング膜140を形成する。

Claims (5)
- 内周に複列の軌道面が形成された外輪と、一端に車輪取付フランジを有すると共に外周に複列の軌道面を有し、ハブ輪と内輪からなる内方部材と、前記外輪と内方部材のそれぞれの軌道面間に介装された複列の転動体とを備え、前記ハブ輪の小径段部の端部を加締めることによりハブ輪と内輪を一体化し、前記ハブ輪の内径にトルク伝達手段を介して等速自在継手の継手外輪を嵌合させ、ハブ輪の加締部と継手外輪の肩部を突き合わせた車輪用軸受装置において、前記ハブ輪の加締部と継手外輪の肩部は同程度の表面硬さを有し、それらハブ輪の加締部と継手外輪の肩部との突合せ部に低摩擦構造を設けたことを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記同程度の表面硬さを有するハブ輪の加締部と継手外輪の肩部は未焼入れ状態である請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記低摩擦構造として、ハブ輪の加締部と継手外輪の肩部との突合せ部に低摩擦コーティング膜を形成した請求項1又は2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記低摩擦構造として、ハブ輪の加締部と継手外輪の肩部との突合せ部の面粗さをRa1.0以下とした請求項1又は2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外輪の外周に車体取付フランジを有し、ハブ輪の外周に、複列の軌道面のうちの一方の軌道面が形成されている請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
