Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は燃料電池用バイポーラプレートに関し、このプレートは一方が他方にそれらの内側面(200a、300a)により接するように組み立てられた2つのハーフプレート(200、300)で構成され、各ハーフプレート(200、300)はその内側面(200a、300a)に互いに離間した少なくとも第1グルーブおよび第2グルーブ(201、202;301,302)を含む。該グルーブの底部(211、212;311、312)は、各グルーブに沿って分配され、またハーフプレート(200;300)の外側面(200b;300b)へと開口する複数のオリフィス(2110、2120;3110、3120)を各々提供する。各ハーフプレート(200;300)の外側面(200b;300b)は複数の分配チャンネルを含み、各分配チャンネルは第1グルーブ(201;301)の各オリフィスを第2グルーブ(202;302)の各オリフィスに接続する。

Claims (13)
- 燃料電池用バイポーラプレートであって、該プレートは一方が他方にそれらの内側面(100a)により接するように組み立てられた2つのハーフプレート(100)で構成され、各ハーフプレートはその内側面(100a)に互いに離間した少なくとも1つの第1グルーブおよび1つの第2グルーブ(101、102)、およびその外側面(100b)に複数の分配チャンネル(140a〜140m)を含み、第1および第2グルーブ(101、102)は、分配チャンネル(140a〜140m)の端部の各々へそれぞれ開口する複数のオリフィス(101a〜101m、102a〜102m)を提供すること、および2つのハーフプレートをこのように一体に組み立てることによって形成された状態のバイポーラプレートは、該バイポーラプレートの外側面の下方で延在する4つのグルーブ(201、202、301、302)を有し、外側面の各々が複数の分配チャンネルを含むことを特徴とするバイポーラプレート。
- 各ハーフプレートにおける第1および第2グルーブ(101、102)の各々は、それが連通しているハーフプレートにおける開口部(120;121)から次第に減少する断面を成すことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプレート。
- 各ハーフプレートの第1および第2グルーブ(101、102)はそれぞれ実質的に三角の形状を成し、それら形状は互いに対して反転していることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のプレート。
- 第1および第2グルーブの少なくとも一方は、2つの反対に向いた三角形の形態の形状を成し、それら三角形はプレートの中央にてそれらの狭い端部により接し、2つの三角形の反対の端部はグルーブへの2つの別個の供給入口を形成することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のプレート。
- 少なくとも1つのハーフプレート(100)がその内側面(100a)に第1および第2グルーブ(101、102)間に配置された複数のチャンネル(130、131)を含み、2つのハーフプレートのチャンネルが互いに協同して、冷却流体用の複数のフローダクトを形成することを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のプレート。
- ハーフプレート(100)が金属でできていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のプレート。
- ハーフプレートはろう付けによって、または導電性接着剤によって一方が他方に接するように保持されていることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載のプレート。
- ハーフプレート(100)が非金属材料でできていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のプレート。
- ハーフプレートは導電性接着剤によって一方が他方に接するように保持されていることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のプレート。
- 各ハーフプレート(700)が、締結力下にて2つのハーフプレート間にシーリングを提供するように、ガスケット(702)のためのハウジングを形成するグルーブ(701)をその内側面に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜6および8のいずれかに記載のプレート。
- ハーフプレート(100)が相等しいことを特徴とする、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載のプレート。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の2つのプレート間に配置された、電解質によって離間した第1および第2電極(401、402)より形成される少なくとも1つの単セル(400)を含んで成ることを特徴とする燃料電池。
- プロトン交換膜型(PEMFC)であることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の燃料電池。
