Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の提供するセキュリティ検査システムは、被検者が通り抜けることが可能な入口と、アンテナ素子のアレイを含む走査パネルと、を有する。アンテナ素子のそれぞれは、被検者上のターゲット向けてマイクロ波照射ビームを送るように、それぞれの位相遅れをプログラムすることが可能である。アンテナ素子は、ターゲットから反射された反射マイクロ波照射ビームを受け取ることが可能である。このシステムは、さらに、反射マイクロ波照射ビームの強度を測定して、作成される前記被検者の画像内におけるピクセル値を求めるよう動作可能であるプロセッサを有する。

Claims (10)
- セキュリティ検査システムであって、
被検者が通り抜けることが可能な入口と、
アンテナ素子のアレイを含む走査パネルであって、該アンテナ素子のそれぞれは、前記被検者上のターゲット向けてマイクロ波照射ビームを送るように、それぞれの位相遅れをプログラムすることが可能であり、前記アンテナ素子は、前記ターゲットから反射された反射マイクロ波照射ビームを受け取ることが可能である、走査パネルと、
前記反射マイクロ波照射ビームの強度を測定して、作成される前記被検者の画像内におけるピクセル値を求めるよう動作可能であるプロセッサと、
を有するシステム。 - 前記アンテナ・アレイが反射アンテナ・アレイであり、前記アンテナ素子が反射アンテナ素子であり、前記アンテナ素子が、送信マイクロ波アンテナからのマイクロ波照射ビームを受信するよう構成され、前記ターゲットに向けてマイクロ波照射ビームを送るようにプログラムされた前記それぞれの位相遅れに基づいて、前記マイクロ波照射ビームを反射するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記反射アンテナ素子が、さらに、前記ターゲットから反射された前記反射マイクロ波照射ビームを受信するよう構成され、交互パターンをなすように前記反射アンテナ素子にプログラミングを施すことにより、前記反射マイクロ波照射ビームを受信マイクロ波アンテナに向けて反射するように構成されている、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記受信マイクロ波アンテナが前記送信マイクロ波アンテナである、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記反射アンテナ・アレイが、前記マイクロ波照射ビームを前記ターゲットに向けて反射するように構成された第1の反射アンテナ・アレイと、前記反射マイクロ波照射ビームを前記受信マイクロ波アンテナに向けて反射するように構成された第2の反射アンテナ・アレイが含まれる、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記走査パネルが、前記被検者上の異なるターゲットに向けて周波数の異なる複数マイクロ波ビームを同時に送ることが可能な1つ以上の走査パネルを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- セキュリティ検査方法であって、
それぞれの位相遅れをプログラムすることが可能な複数のアンテナ素子を含む反射アンテナ・アレイを設けるステップと、
マイクロ波源からのマイクロ波照射ビームを前記反射アンテナ・アレイで受け取るステップと、
前記アンテナ素子の前記それぞれの位相遅れに基づいて、ターゲット上の位置に向けて前記マイクロ波照射ビームを反射するステップと、
前記反射アンテナ・アレイにおいて、前記ターゲット上の前記位置から反射された反射マイクロ波照射ビームを受信するステップと、
前記反射マイクロ波照射ビームの強度を測定して、ピクセル値を求めるステップと、
前記ターゲット上の複数位置に関連した複数ピクセル値を含む画像を作成するステップと、
を有する方法。 - 前記マイクロ波源が、送信マイクロ波アンテナであり、
前記アンテナ素子のそれぞれに関連したそれぞれの追加位相遅れに基づいて、受信マイクロ波アンテナに向けて前記反射マイクロ波ビームを反射するステップをさらに有する、請求項7に記載の方法。 - 前記反射アンテナ・アレイが、前記ターゲットの異なる部分を画像化する2つ以上の反射アンテナ・アレイを含んでおり、
前記2つ以上の反射アンテナ・アレイを同時に動作させて、2つ以上のピクセル値を求めるステップをさらに有する、請求項7に記載の方法。 - 前記反射するステップが、前記ターゲット上の異なる位置に向けて周波数の異なる複数のマイクロ波ビームを同時に反射するステップを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
