Abstract
【解決手段】 灯具前後方向に延びる光軸Ax上に投影レンズ14を配置し、その後方側に発光素子12を配置する。この発光素子12は、光軸Ax上における投影レンズ14の後側焦点Fの後方近傍に配置された発光チップ22と、この発光チップ22をこれと所定間隔をおいて前方側から覆う透光カバー26と、この透光カバー26の下部領域に形成された遮光膜28とを備えた構成とする。その際、透光カバー26は、後側焦点Fにおいて光軸Axと交差するように配置し、遮光膜28は、その上端縁28aが後側焦点Fを通るように形成する。これにより、投影レンズ14の後側焦点面上に形成される光源像が、従来のように発光チップを封止する略半球状の封止樹脂部材の凸レンズ作用によって拡大されてしまうのを未然に防止する。

灯具前後方向に延びる光軸上に配置された投影レンズと、この投影レンズの後方側に配置された発光素子と、を備えてなる車両用照明灯具において、
上記発光素子が、上記光軸上における上記投影レンズの後側焦点の後方近傍に配置された発光チップと、この発光チップを該発光チップと所定間隔をおいて前方側から覆う透光カバーと、この透光カバーの下部領域に形成された遮光膜とを備えてなり、
上記透光カバーが、上記後側焦点において上記光軸と交差するように配置されており、
上記遮光膜が、該遮光膜の上端縁が上記後側焦点を通るように形成されている、ことを特徴とするものである。

Claims (3)
- 灯具前後方向に延びる光軸上に配置された投影レンズと、この投影レンズの後方側に配置された発光素子と、を備えてなる車両用照明灯具において、
上記発光素子が、上記光軸上における上記投影レンズの後側焦点の後方近傍に配置された発光チップと、この発光チップを該発光チップと所定間隔をおいて前方側から覆う透光カバーと、この透光カバーの下部領域に形成された遮光膜とを備えてなり、
上記透光カバーが、上記後側焦点において上記光軸と交差するように配置されており、
上記遮光膜が、該遮光膜の上端縁が上記後側焦点を通るように形成されている、ことを特徴とする車両用照明灯具。 - 上記透光カバーが、上記後側焦点において上記光軸と略直交する平面部を有している、ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用照明灯具。
- 上記発光チップが、該発光チップの発光中心を上記光軸よりも上方へ変位させるようにして配置されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の車両用照明灯具。
