Description
−ファイバーの平均長さは、最大で120mmである。
−ファイバーは、ガラス、ウール、綿、セラミック、ポリアクリロニトリル、予め酸化されたポリアクリロニトリルおよびアラミドのファイバーの群から選択される。
−マットには、粉体状の充填剤が混入される。この充填剤は、次の素成分または配合剤、すなわち、銅、ロックウール、炭素(コークスまたは還元された粉体状のカーボンファイバー、グラファイト)、珪酸ジルコニウム、硫化鉄、アルミナ、ゴムおよび珪藻のすべて、またはその一部を含む。
−マットには、パルプ状の充填剤が混入される。この充填剤は、次の配合剤、すなわち、ガラス、アラミド、アクリルおよびフェノールファイバーのパルプのすべて、または一部を含む。
−熱硬化性タイプの樹脂は、有極性溶剤、好ましくは水性溶剤を含む。
−熱硬化性樹脂には、ラテックスまたは粉体状の充填剤が添加されている。この充填剤は、次の素成分または配合剤、すなわち、銅、ロックウール、炭素(コークスまたは還元された粉体状のカーボンファイバー、グラファイト)、珪酸ジルコニウム、硫化鉄、アルミナ、ゴムおよび珪藻のすべて、またはその一部を含む。

(d)上記のようにして形成されたラップをニードリング加工する工程と、
(e)ニードリング加工されたマットに熱硬化性樹脂を含浸する工程と、
(f)含浸されたマットを乾燥する工程と
を有することを特徴とする。
−上記工程(b)と工程(c)との間で、上記のような粉体状の充填剤の液を、カードウェブ上に散布する。
−工程(e)の前に、熱硬化性樹脂に上記のような充填剤を添加する。
−工程(e)の前に、上記のような充填剤を含む希釈液または分散液を、ニードリング加工されたマットに、そのコアまで含浸させる。
−ウールタイプのカードにより、カーディング作業を実行する。
−ニードリング作業の前に、予備的ニードリング作業を行う。
−溶液状の樹脂または水に分散された樹脂を入れたタンク内でソーキングすることにより、樹脂の含浸を実行する。
−乾燥作業の前に、圧搾または脱水作業を行なう。
−乾燥後または乾燥中に、マットを巻き取る。
(a)ミキサー内で同じ性質または異なる性質のファイバーの混合物を製造する工程。
(b)カードウェブを形成するように、上記混合物をカーディング加工する工程。
(c')次の素成分、すなわち銅、ロックウール、炭素(コークスおよび/または還元された粉体状のカーボンファイバー、グラファイト)、珪酸ジルコニウム、硫化鉄、アルミナ、ゴムおよび珪藻のすべてまたはその一部を含む粉体状の充填剤および粉体状の樹脂をカードウェブ上に散布する工程。
(d')樹脂の流れを確実にするように、マットを適当な温度にしながら、マットをプレスする工程。
(g)リングまたは1つのリングを形成する複数のセクタを、マットから切断または打ち抜きし、
(i)リングまたは1つのリングを形成する複数のセクタを、モールドの底部に置き、
(j)モールド内のリングまたは1つのリングを形成する複数のセクタ上に、金属サポートを置き、
(k)適当な場合、前記リングまたは1つのリングを形成する前記複数のセクタと反対側の金属サポート上に、第2リングまたは1つのリングを形成する複数のセクタを置き、
(l)モールドを閉じるピストンの運動を制御し、かつ規制するように、シムを配置した状態でモールドを閉じ、
(m)モールド内で圧力を加えながら加熱し、前記リングの付着力、また前記第2リングが設置されている場合には、金属サポートへの前記第2リングの付着をも確実とし、
(n)モールドを開けて、摩擦材料で被覆された装置を冷却する。

Claims (13)
- 液体媒体内で摩擦を利用する装置、例えば、自動ギアボックス用又はこの自動ギアボックスと連動するクラッチ又はブレーキディスク、もしくは手動操作式ギアボックス用同期化リング、又はコーンに取り付けられる摩擦材料を製造する方法であって、
(a)ミキサーにおいて、同じ性質又は異なる性質のファイバーであって、長さ少なくとも12mmを有するファイバーの混合物を製造する工程;
(b)前記混合物をカーディング加工して、カードウェブを形成する工程;
(c)カードウェブをラップ加工する工程;
(d)形成されたラップをニードリング加工する工程;
(e)ニードリング加工して得られたマットに熱硬化性樹脂を含浸させる工程;
(f)含浸したマットを乾燥する工程;
を包含すること特徴とする、摩擦材料の製法。 - 工程(b)と工程(c)との間で、銅、ロックウール、炭素(コークス又は還元された粉体状のカーボンファイバー、グラファイト)、珪酸ジルコニウム、硫化鉄、アルミナ、ゴム及び珪藻のすべて又は一部を含有する粉体状の充填剤をカードウェブ上に散布することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の製法。

- 液体媒体内で摩擦を利用する装置、例えば、自動ギアボックス用又はこの自動ギアボックスと連動するクラッチ又はブレーキディスク、もしくは手動操作式ギアボックス用同期化リング、又はコーンに取り付けられる摩擦材料を製造する方法であって、
(a)ミキサーにおいて、同じ性質又は異なる性質のファイバーであって、長さ少なくとも12mmを有するファイバーの混合物を製造する工程;
(b)上記混合物をカーディング加工して、カードウェブを形成する工程;
(c')銅、ロックウール、炭素(コークス又は還元された粉体状のカーボンファイバー、グラファイト)、珪酸ジルコニウム、硫化鉄、アルミナ、ゴム及び珪藻のすべて又は一部を含有する粉体状の充填剤及び粉体状の樹脂をカードウェブ上に散布する工程;
(d')樹脂の流れを確実にするようにマットを適当な温度にしながら、マットをプレスする工程;
を包含することを特徴とする、摩擦材料の製法。 - (h)リング又は1つのリングを形成する複数のセクタを、マットからカットアウトする工程を包含することを特徴とする、請求項1又は10記載の製法。
- 請求項11に記載の製法によって得られた摩擦材料にて被覆された装置を製造する方法であって、
(i)リング又は1つのリングを形成する複数のセクタを、モールドの底部に置く工程;
(j)モールド内において、リング又は1つのリングを形成する複数のセクタの上に金属サポートを置く工程;
(k)適当な場合、前記リング又は1つのリングを形成する前記複数のセクタと反対側の金属サポート上に、第2のリング又は1つのリングを形成する複数のセクタを置く工程;
(l)モールドを閉じるピストンの運動を制御及び規制するように配置されたシムを介して、モールドを閉じる工程;
(m)モールド内において、圧力下で加熱を行い、これにより、金属サポートへの、前記リング及び存在する場合には前記第2リングの付着を確実なものとする工程;
(n)モールドを開放し、摩擦材料にて被覆された装置を冷却する工程、
を包含すること特徴とする、摩擦材料にて被覆された装置の製法。 - ピストンの運動を制限するシムが、摩擦材料の多孔性を20〜70%とするような寸法であることを特徴とする、請求項12記載の製法。
