Abstract
【解決手段】電子制御式背圧レギュレータ(150)は、ベント(168)を有する分析装置(116)、圧力センサ(152)、比例式弁(164)、及び、圧力センサ(152)からの信号及び電子制御式の圧力設定値に基づいてベント(168)を通る流れを制御するよう構成された電子制御式の閉ループコントローラ(158)を有する。ここで、ベント(168)はベント経路(166)を介して分析装置(116)に結合され、圧力センサ(152)はベント経路(166)に結合され、比例式弁(164)はベント経路(166)に結合され、分析装置(116)内の圧力を制御可能に変更するよう構成されている。

- ベント(168)を有する分析装置(116)であって、前記ベント(168)はベント経路(166)を介して該分析装置(116)に結合されている、分析装置(116)と、
前記ベント経路(166)に結合された圧力センサ(152)と、
前記ベント経路(166)に結合されて、前記分析装置(116)内の圧力を制御可能に変更するように構成された比例式弁(164)と、
前記比例式弁(164)に結合されて、前記圧力センサ(152)からの信号及び電子的に制御される圧力設定値に基づいて、前記ベント(168)を通る流れを制御するように構成された電子制御式閉ループ・コントローラ(158)
とを備える、電子制御式背圧レギュレータ(150)。 - 前記圧力センサが絶対圧センサ(376)である、請求項1に記載の電子制御式背圧レギュレータ(150)。
- 前記圧力センサがゲージ圧センサ(352)である、請求項1に記載の電子制御式背圧レギュレータ(150)。
- 前記電子制御式閉ループ・コントローラ(358)に雰囲気圧を表わす信号を供給するように構成された絶対圧センサ(376)をさらに備え、前記電子制御式閉ループ・コントローラ(358)が、ゲージ圧及び雰囲気圧に応答する、請求項3に記載の電子制御式背圧レギュレータ(150)。
- 前記電子制御式閉ループ・コントローラ(358)が、前記比例式弁(164)を制御して、前記ベント(168)に結合された試料ループ(230)内の圧力を変更する、請求項4に記載の電子制御式背圧レギュレータ(150)。
- 絶対圧設定値が前記電子制御式閉ループ・コントローラ(158)に入力される、請求項5に記載の電子制御式背圧レギュレータ(150)。
- ガス・クロマトグラフにおける背圧を電子的に制御する方法であって、
ベント(168)を有する分析装置(116)を設けるステップであって、前記ベント(168)はベント経路(166)を介して前記分析装置(116)に結合されることからなる、ステップと、
前記ベント経路(166)に圧力センサ(152)を結合するステップと、
前記分析装置(116)内の圧力を制御可能に変更するように構成された比例式弁(164)を前記ベント経路(166)に結合するステップと、
前記圧力センサ(152)からの信号及び電子的に制御される圧力設定値に基づき、電子制御式閉ループ・コントローラ(158)を用いて、ベント(168)を通る流れを電子的に制御するステップ
とを含む、方法。 - さらに、絶対圧センサ(476)を前記ベント(168)に結合するステップを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- さらに、ゲージ圧センサ(152)を前記ベント(168)に結合するステップを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- さらに、絶対圧センサ(376)を前記電子制御式閉ループ・コントローラ(152)に結合するステップを含み、前記電子制御式閉ループ・コントローラ(152)がゲージ圧及び雰囲気圧に応答する、請求項9に記載の方法。
