Description
Claims (14)
- モニタリング装置をタイヤ内に取り付けるためのタイヤモニタリング装置とパッチの組立体であって、
該組立体は、タイヤに接続されるように適合されたパッチと、本体部を有する電子モニタリング装置とを具え、
パッチは、基部及び該基部から突出した管状部を有し、
基部及び管状部は、基部に実質的に直交して配置された縦軸線を有する空洞を画定し、
電子モニタリング装置の少なくとも一部は空洞内に配置され、
パッチが空洞への開口部を画定し、開口部が最大幅寸法を有し、電子モニタリング装置の本体部が最大幅寸法を有する組立体において、
電子モニタリング装置の本体部が曲線状の外面を有し、
開口部の最大幅寸法が電子モニタリング装置の最大幅寸法よりも小さい
ことを特徴とする組立体。 - 管状部は、縁部内で終端する連続した側壁部を有し、縁部は、パッチにより画定された空洞への開口部を画定する、請求項1に記載の組立体。
- 電子モニタリング装置の一部は、縁部により画定された開口部の外部に延在する、請求項2に記載の組立体。
- モニタリング装置の本体部が回収開口部を画定し、回収開口部が、基部及び管状部により画定される空洞の外部に配置される、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の組立体。
- パッチとインナーライナーの間に接着材料の層をさらに具える、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の組立体。
- モニタリング装置の本体部の半分超が空洞内に配置される、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の組立体。
- モニタリング装置の本体部が、開口部を有する呼吸管を画定し、呼吸管の開口部がパッチの空洞の外部に位置する、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の組立体。
- モニタリング装置の本体部が実質的に球形である、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の組立体。
- モニタリング装置の本体部が楕円球形である、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の組立体。
- 電子モニタリング装置がアンテナを含み、アンテナが基部と実質的に直交して配置される、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の組立体。
- 電子モニタリング装置の本体部がアンテナを包囲する、請求項10に記載の組立体。
- 電子モニタリング装置の本体部が涙滴形である、請求項10又は11に記載の組立体。
- モニタリング装置をタイヤ内に装着するためのパッチからタイヤモニタリング装置を取り外す方法において、
モニタリング装置の少なくとも半分が、基部及びパッチの基部から突出した管状部により画定される空洞内に配置されており、
空洞が、静止寸法を有する開口部を有しており、
該方法が、空洞の開口部を、開口部の静止寸法よりも大きな寸法にまで引き伸ばすステップと、
引き伸ばした開口部を介して、曲線状の外面を有するモニタリング装置を取り外すステップとを含む
ことを特徴とする方法。 - モニタリング装置の少なくとも一部を空洞内に戻しつつ、空洞の開口部を引き伸ばすステップをさらに含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
