Claims (16)
- 無線符号分割多重アクセス通信システムの逆方向リンクにおいて、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクションを維持する方法であって、
前記フィールド・ユニットに対応する識別子を決定し、
前記識別子にモジュロ関数を適用して、前記フィールド・ユニットがメッセージまたは信号を送信できる逆方向リンクのスロットを計算し、
前記メッセージまたは信号を前記計算されたスロットで送受信基地局に伝送する、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。 - 請求項1において、前記計算されたタイム・スロットが、ゲート制御される逆方向パイロット・チャネルのゲート・オン期間の1つである、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。
- 請求項1において、前記計算されたタイム・スロットが、I-CDMAにより定義された128スロットの1つである、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。
- 請求項1において、前記識別子がMAC_IDである、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。
- 請求項1において、前記メッセージがメンテナンス・データを含む、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。
- 請求項1において、前記メッセージがユーザ・ペイロード・データを含む、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。
- 請求項1において、さらに、前記モジュロ関数を、無線符号分割多重アクセス通信システム内で定義される時分割多重スロットの数に基づいて定義する、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。
- 請求項1において、前記メッセージの伝送が、パイロットのみの伝送、オーバーヘッド信号を伴う伝送、およびペイロード伝送の内の少なくとも1つに実行される、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。
- 請求項1において、さらに、別々のフィールド・ユニットのゲーティング・レートに応じて、別々のモジュロ関数を別々のフィールド・ユニットに適用する、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。
- 請求項1において、さらに、逆方向リンク上の時分割多重効果に関する識別子を割当てる工程を備え、この割当て工程が、逆方向リンク上の時分割多重効果に関して、順番形式、各スロットの占有数を等しくすることに基づく形式、および最少占有モジュロ状態への追加をもたらす次の識別子を割当てる形式の少なくとも1つに整合する方法である、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。
- 請求項1において、さらに、識別子を周期的に再割当することにより、フィールド・ユニットを時分割多重スロットに最適に分配する、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。
- 無線符号分割多重アクセス通信システムの逆方向リンクにおいて、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクションを維持する方法であって、
逆方向リンク状態変化が複数の状態の間で必要とされているか否かを決定し、
前記逆方向リンク状態変化に対する要求を物理層で伝送し、
伝送された前記要求を物理層で検出し、
状態が変化すると、前記送受信基地局内の電力制御目標値を変更する、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。 - 請求項12において、前記複数の状態が、アクティブ、制御保持および休止状態を含む、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。
- 請求項12において、前記複数の状態が、アクティブ、スタンバイおよびアイドル状態を含む、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。
- 請求項12において、要求を伝送する工程およびその要求を検出する工程が、リンク層で発生する、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。
- 無線符号分割多重アクセス通信システムの逆方向リンクにおいて、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクションを維持する方法であって、
データ伝送のための所定の時間間隔を設け、
送受信基地局とフィールド・ユニットの間を調整して、前記所定の時間間隔が送受信基地局とフィールド・ユニットの両方に共通となるようにし、
前記所定の時間間隔に従って、通常サイクルにおける伝送電力レベルを調整し、
前記調整された電力レベルで、前記フィールド・ユニットから送受信基地局にデータを伝送し、
前記基地局において、前記調整された伝送電力レベルに応答して、基準信号品質レベルを調整する、フィールド・ユニットと送受信基地局の間のアイドル・モード・コネクション維持方法。
