Abstract

Claims (12)
- 所定の内径(D3)を有するプラスチックのソケット(5)に、所定の外径(D1)を有するプラスチックのライン(6)を接続するための方法であって、前記ラインの端部が加熱された後、この加熱された端部が、ソケット中へと押し入れられ、熱による接続部(16)を形成するようにソケット中で冷やされる方法において、
熱が前記端部の外周にほぼ均一に伝達するように、前記ラインの端部を、非接触で加熱する工程と、
前記ソケットの内径(D3)より大きい直径を有するフランジが形成されるように、前記端部のヘッドエンド(9)を外側にカールする工程と、
前記ソケットの内壁の壁材が、ソケットの一端面から所定の距離(L)のところに置かれた位置まで押し入れられるように、前記ライン(6)のヘッドエンド(9)をソケット(5)中へ挿入する工程とを具備し、この結果、液密な接続部(16)が、ラインの前記外側にカールされたヘッドエンドとソケットの押し入れられた前記壁材とによって形成されることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記外径(D1)は、前記ソケットの内径(D3)以上である請求項1の方法。

さらに、環状の加熱孔と移動可能な部材(38)とを備えた加熱ユニット(17)を具備し、この移動可能な部材は、前記ライン通路と一直線上に位置された動作位置と取り外し位置との間で、かくして、前記クランプスライド部と前記ホルダーとの間で、前記加熱ユニットを移動させる、プラスチックのラインをプラスチックのソケットに接続するための装置。 - 前記加熱ユニットは、孔を備えたノズルと、この孔から所定の距離離れたところに位置されたデフレクター(28)と、また流体供給部(24)とを有し、動作位置にあるときのこのノズルは、ライン通路(15)と一直線上に位置され得る請求項8の装置。
- 前記クランプスライド部(14)とソケットの前記ホルダー(19)とは、回転可能なカルーセル(33)に位置され、前記加熱ユニット(17,20)に沿って回転可能である請求項8又は9の装置。
- 複数の異なるクランプスライド(14)とホルダー(19)とが、前記カルーセル(33)に取着された支持体に固定されており、クランプ部材とホルダーの数に対応する複数の加熱ユニット(17,20)が設けられている請求項10の装置。
- この装置は、前記ラインの両端部にソケット(5)を同時に装着するために、ライン通路(15)と一直線上で、クランプスライド(14)と、ホルダー(19)と、互いから少なくとも所定の距離離れたところに位置された加熱ユニットとの2つの集合体が設けられている請求項8ないし11のいずれか1の装置。
