Claims (6)
- 約2.225未満のSSGを有する非溶融加工可能なフルオロポリマー粒子を水性媒質中に含む分散液であって、前記フルオロポリマー粒子が、約1.5×1010Pa・sよりも大きい平均溶融クリープ粘度を有する高分子量のポリテトラフルオロエチレンのコアと、より低分子量のポリテトラフルオロエチレンまたは変性ポリテトラフルオロエチレンのシェルとを含み、前記シェルが、約9×109Pa・sよりも大きい平均溶融クリープ粘度を有しかつ約5〜約30重量%の前記粒子を含み、前記フルオロポリマーがフィブリル化するものであることを特徴とする分散液。
- 請求項1に記載の水性分散液を凝結し乾燥させることにより得られることを特徴とする非溶融加工可能なフルオロポリマー粉末。
- 界面活性剤を含有する水性媒質中の2.225未満のSSGを有する非溶融加工可能なフルオロポリマー粒子の濃縮分散液を含むコーティング組成物であって、前記分散液が約30〜約70重量%のフルオロポリマーを含有し、前記フルオロポリマー粒子が、約1.5×1010Pa・sよりも大きい平均溶融クリープ粘度を有するフィブリル化可能な高分子量ポリテトラフルオロエチレンのコアと、より低分子量のフィブリル化可能なポリテトラフルオロエチレンまたは変性ポリテトラフルオロエチレンのシェルとを含み、前記シェルが、約9×109Pa・sよりも大きい平均溶融クリープ粘度を有しかつ約5〜約30重量%の前記粒子を含み、前記フルオロポリマーがフィブリル化するものであることを特徴とするコーティング組成物。
- ベーキングされた層の形態である請求項3に記載のコーティング組成物でコーティングされていることを特徴とする基材。
- 請求項1に記載の分散液からキャスティングされたものであることを特徴とする自立性フィルム。
- 非溶融加工可能なフルオロポリマー分散液を作製するためのバッチ法であって、水性媒質中、分散剤の存在下でテトラフルオロエチレンを重合して、2.225未満のSSGを有するフルオロポリマーを生成させる工程を含み、前記重合工程が、第1の量のフリーラジカル開始剤が添加される間の第1の段階ならびに第2の量のフリーラジカル開始剤およびテロゲン性試剤が添加される間の第2の段階で行われ、前記第1の量の開始剤が、約1.5×1010Pa・sよりも大きい平均溶融クリープ粘度を有するポリテトラフルオロエチレンを生成させ、前記第2の量の開始剤が、前記第1の量の少なくとも約10倍でありかつ全テトラフルオロエチレンの約95%が重合される前に添加され、前記第2の量の開始剤が、約9×109Pa・sよりも大きくかつ前記コアのポリテトラフルオロエチレンの平均溶融クリープ粘度よりも小さい平均溶融クリープ粘度を有するポリテトラフルオロエチレンまたは変性ポリテトラフルオロエチレンを生成させることを特徴とするバッチ法。
