Abstract
Description
本発明の第1の態様に於いて、LCOS(Liquid Crystal On Silicon:シリコン基板上の液晶)投射システムは、各々が各波長の光を発する複数の共振微小空洞アノードと、前記複数の共振微小空洞アノードの各々のためのLCOSデバイスであって、前記LCOSデバイスの各々が画像を発生するLCOSデバイスと、前記共振微小空洞アノードからの光とLCOSデバイスからの画像を反射し且つ向きを変える複数の偏光ビーム・スプリッタと、画像を合成して、合成画像を発生する手段とから成る。
Claims (21)
- 各々が各波長の光を発する、複数の共振微小空洞アノード(32、42、52)と、
前記複数の共振微小空洞アノードの各々のためのLCOSデバイスであって、前記LCOSデバイスの各々が画像を発生するLCOSデバイスと、
共振微小空洞アノードからの光とLCOSデバイスからの画像を反射し且つ向きを変える複数の偏光ビーム・スプリッタと、
画像を合成して、合成画像を発生するための手段とから成る、LCOS投射システム。 - 前記投射システムが更に合成画像を投影するための投写レンズ(50)を含む、請求項1に記載のLCOS投射システム。
- 画像を合成するための前記手段が、交差した2色性の合成器を含む、請求項1記載のLCOS投射システム。
- 画像を合成するための前記手段が、色波長セレクタと光路長補償器を含む、請求項1記載のLCOS投射システム。
- 各LCOSデバイスが、合成されたLCOS微小ディスプレイ(38、48、58)と4分の1の波長板(36、46、56)とを含む、請求項1記載のLCOS投射システム。
- 前記複数の共振微小空洞アノードが、“P”モードの共振微小空洞アノード・デバイスか“S”モードの共振微小空洞アノード・デバイスの何れかのグループから選択される、請求項1記載のLCOS投射システム。
- 各々が各波長の光を発する複数の共振微小空洞アノード(102、152、112、122)と、
前記複数の共振微小空洞アノードの各々のための画像形成装置であって、各々が画像を発生する画像形成装置と、
共振微小空洞アノードからの光と画像形成装置からの画像を反射し、向きを変える複数の偏光ビーム・スプリッタと、から成る、光弁投射システム。 - 投射システムが更に各画像形成装置からの画像を合成する合成器を含む、請求項7に記載の光弁投射システム。
- 画像形成装置がLCOS微小ディスプレイ(108、128)を含む、請求項7に記載の光弁投射システム。
- 投射システムが更に前記合成器からの合成画像を受け取るための投写レンズ(120)を含む、請求項8に記載の光弁投射システム。
- 前記合成器が、交差した2色性の合成器である、請求項8に記載の光弁投射システム。
- 前記合成器が、光路補償立方体(110)とColorSelectシステムとから成る、請求項8に記載の光弁投射システム。
- 前記システムが更に光路長補償立方体(110)を含む、請求項7に記載の光弁投射システム。
- 前記システムが更にColorSelectシステム(135、145、152)を含む、請求項13に記載の光弁投射システム。
- 前記複数の共振微小空洞アノードが、“P”モードの共振微小空洞アノード・デバイスか或いは“S”モードの共振微小空洞アノード・デバイスの何れかのグループから選択される、請求項7に記載の光弁投射システム。
- 少なくとも第1の照射源(32)であって、真空空洞の第1の面に第1の入力を受け取るための電界放出ディスプレイ点のアレイと、真空空洞の第2の面に共振微小空洞アノードの対応するアレイとを有する照射源(32)と、
前記照射源により照射される少なくとも第1のLCOSデバイス(38)と、から成る、合成された共振微小空洞アノード電界放出ディスプレイを用いた光弁投射システム。 - 前記少なくとも第1の照射源が、赤色の光で前記第1のLCOSデバイスを照射する第1の照射源(32)と、緑色の光で第2のLCOSデバイスを照射する第2の照射源(42)と、青色の光で第3のLCOSデバイスを照射する第3の照射源(52)とを含む、請求項16の光弁投射システム。
- 前記第1、第2、および第3の照射源が、それぞれ個々の赤色、緑色および青色の入力源を有する、請求項16の光弁投射システム。
- 少なくとも第1の照射源(32)であって、偏向コイルを持たない真空空洞の第1の面のカソードおよび前記真空空洞の第2の面の共振微小空洞アノードの対応するアレイ上に複数の入力を同時に受け取る照射源(32)と、
前記照射源により照射される少なくとも第1のLCOSデバイス(38)と、から成る、合成された共振微小空洞アノードCRTを用いた光弁投射システム。 - 前記少なくとも第1の照射源が、赤色の光で前記第1のLCOSデバイスを照射する第1の照射源(32)と、緑色の光で第2のLCOSデバイスを照射する第2の照射源(42)と、青色の光で第3のLCOSデバイスを照射する第3の照射源(52)とを含む、請求項19の光弁投射システム。
- 前記第1、第2、および第3の照射源が、それぞれ個々の赤色、緑色および青色の入力源を有する、請求項19の光弁投射システム。
