Abstract

Claims (4)
- 少なくとも2つの材料間の溶接部(100)の一部分を検査するように構成された装置(120)であって、
液体(146)を収容するハウジング(124)と、
部分的に前記ハウジング液体内部に取付けられた少なくとも1つの超音波フェーズドアレイ・プローブ(126)と、
を含む装置(120)。 - 前記少なくとも1つの超音波フェーズドアレイ・プローブ(126)が、複数の素子(162)を有する少なくとも1つのトランスデューサ(160)を含み、前記トランスデューサが、周波数、ピッチ(p)及び開口度(A)で作動するように構成されている、請求項1記載の装置(120)。
- 前記少なくとも1つの超音波フェーズドアレイ・プローブ(126)が、周波数を含み、かつアクチュエータ(168)を用いて複数の角度(164)の周りで回転するように構成されている、請求項1記載の装置(120)。
- 前記少なくとも1つの超音波フェーズドアレイ・プローブ(126)が、
超音波ビーム(148)を放射し、
前記溶接部(100)を通るほぼ軸方向の経路に沿って所定の増分間隔の線形経路で外面(170)から内面(174)に向かって前記超音波ビームを電子的に方向操作し、かつ
前記溶接部を通るほぼ円形経路に沿って前記外面から内面に向かって前記超音波ビームを電子的に方向操作する、
ように構成さている、請求項1記載の装置(120)。
