Abstract
【解決手段】 銅メッキされた鉄線が編まれてなる筒状物であり、鉄線同士の交差部に、メッキされた銅が溶融したものが付着して、交差部が固定されているガス発生器用フィルタの製造法であり、銅メッキされた鉄線を編んで筒状物を得る成形工程、及び前記筒状物を、銅の融点以上で、かつ鉄の焼結温度未満で保持した後、冷却する熱処理工程、を有するガス発生器用フィルタの製造法。

Description
芯線となる金属線が低融点金属で被覆されており、低融点金属が芯線を構成する金属よりも低融点の金属である被覆金属線を編んで筒状物を得る成形工程、及び
前記筒状物を、芯線を被覆する低融点金属の融点以上で、かつ芯線を構成する金属の焼結温度未満で保持した後、冷却する熱処理工程、
を有するガス発生器用フィルタの製造法を提供する。
(成形工程)
直径60mmの円柱状芯材の周囲に、銅メッキした鉄線(断面積0.2mm2,メッキ層厚み約2μm)を編み上げて(メリヤス編み)、内径61mm、外径72mm、高さ57mm、質量170gの図1に示すような筒状物を得た。
成形工程で得た筒状物を加熱炉中に入れ、1180℃で10分間保持した後、加熱を止めた状態でそのまま放置して、常温まで冷却して、フィルタを得た。
Claims (7)
- 芯線となる金属線が低融点金属で被覆された被覆金属線が編まれてなる筒状物であり、低融点金属が芯線を構成する金属よりも低融点の金属で、被覆金属線同士の交差部が、溶融した前記低融点金属が付着して固化することで結合されたものであるガス発生器用フィルタ。
- 芯線となる金属線に被覆された低融点金属の融点が、芯線を構成する金属の融点よりも20℃以上低いものである、請求項1記載のガス発生器用フィルタ。
- 芯線となる金属線が鉄線又はステンレス鋼線であり、芯線を被覆する低融点金属が銅、亜鉛、アルミニウム、錫、鉛から選ばれるものである、請求項1又は2記載のガス発生器用フィルタ。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のガス発生器用フィルタの製造法であり、
芯線となる金属線が低融点金属で被覆されており、低融点金属が芯線を構成する金属よりも低融点の金属である被覆金属線を編んで筒状物を得る成形工程、及び
前記筒状物を、芯線を被覆する低融点金属の融点以上で、かつ芯線を構成する金属の焼結温度未満で保持した後、冷却する熱処理工程、
を有するガス発生器用フィルタの製造法。 - 成形工程における筒状物が、内径3〜80mm、外径10〜90mm、高さ5〜300mm、及び質量が10〜400gのものである、請求項4記載のガス発生器用フィルタの製造法。
- 熱処理工程において、芯線を被覆する低融点金属の融点よりも10℃以上高い温度で、かつ芯線を構成する金属の融点よりも10℃以上低い温度で熱処理する、請求項4又は5記載のガス発生器用フィルタの製造法。
- ガス排出孔を有するハウジング、衝撃によって作動する点火手段、点火手段により着火燃焼され、燃焼ガスを発生するガス発生剤が収容された燃焼室、並びに燃焼ガスを濾過及び冷却するためのフィルタを備えたエアバッグ用ガス発生器であり、フィルタとして請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のガス発生器用フィルタを用いたエアバッグ用ガス発生器。
